EP 10: Building a Bot from Start-to-Finish

Hi Guys absolutely been in love with what you have been building through BotPress, tons of exciting things to build.

I have a few questions to ask based on my 1 day knowledge of having known BotPress 😁.

1. I want to use the bot to get access to my Notion pages real-time (meaning after its live and deployed for use) and then take insights from the bot for different analysis.

Eg: Let's say I have an Expense Tracker template, will the bot allow me upload the page URL (which is synced and updated everytime I add a new record) and then give me analysis of my let's say top 3 expenses for last month, biggest expense of this month, total of all expenses for Food and Groceries and so on and so forth.

Can this happen real-time once its deployed?

2. If I have an Expense Template, which is published and shareable with others, will the bot work individually for all users in the same logic when its shared with others?

HEY CAN WE CALCULATE THE SCORE USING THE PDF PRESENT IN THE KNOWLEDGE BASE AND SCORE WILL BE CALCULATED ON THE USER INPUT

Hi Robert, is it possible to have your bot answer but not from a knowledge base? So maybe you can write a system prompt into different sessions of the bot to enable it exhibit different capabilities when called upon

Thank you. I can see we can enter only domains as KB. When will you add the option to add any url. This is a major limitation in botpress. No other bot building tool in the market has this limitation.

Thanks for this tutorial, have you done any tutorial on how to build a chatbot that reads client emails and summarize them all in one response?

Thanks. Still in the process of learning the advanced stuff. Memory, AI task combinations, api integrations, and so on. Keep em coming. Will be opening my discord group soon on all things AI and a small BotPress lab is definitely going to be added. Excited on what's around the corner.

How to start the chat without the users input of "Hi"? I want my chatbot to send the welcoming message immediately when the user opens the website

Hey there! I new with Botpress and I have a question. I added to the knowledge base the URLs with all the information the bot needs but there are some questions that even though the bot should be able to answer them, it sends me to look for the information on the webpage.
Does anyone nows how to solve this and make the bot answer my question instead of making me look for it?

I'm a realtor trying to get rapid apis zillow api to show a response through botpress. I use active pieces which is similar to zapier. Haven't figured it out yet.

Hi, I am having trouble uploading a Sitemap to my knowledge base. It contains 244 unique URLs and 92 have failed, all of which were 96+ characters in length. The successful ones were 95 characters or less. Is this a known fault and what can be done?
