Love your videos mate.....hoping youll reply ......so had a hg replaced skimmed pressure tested and much more inc cams etc all new .

Anyway ..had same issues before and some time later on almost 8 months or more ..now i washt getting any warmth at lower hose even after a new pump (,blue print ) new oe thermostat new v belt and coolant sensor. (Old oump was fine however ) ......so after overheating issues (drove over 200 miles 1 way continuous last years amd same back no issues ) ........now after emptying system filling with mostly ironised water and a rad treatment (new rad on route in case ) now getting heat at bottom hose . Car mpg imprived etc ..quite a bit actually ......car been ok fir few days thought id get this treatment around ..flow to cire gets hot return seems ok according to the heat i use in car ......only today had coolant over engine prob lost say under a litre poss less ..topped up threw heating on as i didnt have far to go amd system was full again.

Ill be flushing it again tom and putting another treatment in it . Then if all clean ish ..ill then put the fl22 mixed in ..any thoughts ?

This video, is huge to many of the viewers that have come before you to learn.

Without any doubt in my mind, if you had made teaching in a trades school any of this, you'd be retired by now and living very well.

Keep on truckin' Eric!

I'll subscribe just for the continuity meter video. Checked relays, wires etc. Both fans come on when AC running. One fan comes on when overheating. 2001 Honda Accord. 280K miles with blowby. Oil coming out of everywhere. Who knows? Actually your last suggestion makes more sense. Off to get a block tester. Thank God remans are about $1200-$1300.

Just thought I put this out there, there is wax inside the brass looking canister in the thermostat that expands as it gets hot, thus opening the thermostat. The spring simply provides the closing force. I always like to see a thorough diagnoses. 👍

1 other thing is ect ....love your videos . I replaced pump old seemed ok no ppay and smooth . New thermostat bled to spec. Recently had a leak pf sorts at front (away from wotk done ) at first glance looked like expansion tank was culprit . But somce removed that amd checked with compressed air . No obvious leaks took car to work today . Onky 4 miles pr so . No obvious leaks same on return all dry . Levels seem ok .

Return hose (lower) i think may have actually gone from cokd this time if i drive further . Ut always fekt cold befure .....fans i find act odd though but do function .
I just ordered new ect . .....and earlier today headinv to work car sounded bit beefier (diesel) so odd

if the oxygen sensor is bad, it also causes heat problems and is not good mixer air and gas.

The electric car gets rid of all of those problems including hundreds of other problems gas engines have including the very toxic and deadly gases from your exhaust so keep that in mind next time you buy a car. And Eric you left out a few other possibilities that could cause engine overheating so the electric car gets rid of all that stuff you need to test this and test that.
The amount of all the different tools and gadgets you need to test a vehicle is a ridiculous amount so go green everyone and recycle ♻️ your plastic we got enough of that stuff. You might be reincarnated when you die
Everyone stay safe and if you run into trouble with unfriendly people just deescalate the situation and walk away together we can make the world a great place for our children . Love you guys and you too Eric you got some awesome videos on here peace out everybody

i think you just solved my dashboard clicking problem. i hear something click on and than click off like every 30 seconds in my 09 escape and its driving me nuts. problem is the click is to the left of the steering wheel by my headlight, dome light, switch area. problem is all my switches work.but its definatly a relay style electrical click... cant wait to dig into it this weekend.

I just can’t figure it out😮. I have a 95 gmc Sonoma 4.3 Vortec. Overheats. Installed new water pump, 2 new thermostats, no leaks. Cleaned/ flushed out heater core. Installed a new blower motor. New temp sensor. It did give me heat when I changed out the blower motor resistor but then not anymore. New blower motor does give me air. But still over heats. I did do a block test but nothing?? Hep

Radiator cap was causing my overflow tank to bubble alot due to broken rubber seal letting air prematurely escape the radiator. It didn't become an overheating problem until I tried to take a longer road trip and thought to check the radiator cap. Good stuff. My mechanic recently did my oil pump and water pump but forgot to put a new thermostat. Based on what you said I'm sure it's starting to fail it's easy enough to change great info

my radiator had a crack, got it replaced. still overheated. didnt have a thermostat, bought a new one and installed. overheated faster. water pump was leaking replaced it reinstalled stat after i removed it. had a cloud of white smoke. that tells me my head gaskets blown. bought a gasket sealer. removed stat to prevent it from getting clogged when i poured the sealer. sealer worked, no more smoke. reinstalled the stat. no overheating. that didnt last long. started overheating, im thinking of replacing the temp sensor. but something tells me the coolant (its mostly water now) isnt circulating. thinking of removing the stat and testing, but were having bad luck, all our other vehicles are in the shop., so this is our only "working" vehicle. i dont want to keep putting money into this vehicle but i need it to work as its our only vehicle. ive already bled it many times. both rad hoses get hot. any thoughts? Btw my fan is belt driven so its always on er working or whatever.

Thank you Eric, I didn't know the radiator cap did all of those things. You could have figured out why I had 1Gal of coolant missing with a full reservoir.
I've been looking for a leak for a week now. My fan also isn't working right. I'll use your advise on finding which wire/relay/fuse or fan motor is the problem.
