I just bought me a black stang tonight just like this 1 with only 101,000 miles on it for $10,000 cash,he wanted $10,500 but i got it for $10,000 which was a helluva deal! She has rims that are sweet, fantastic paint job and she is in GREAT condition inside and out and just hands down a BEAUTIFUL monster of a machine! She sounds so damn good too with dual pipes out the back with a ton of mods that were done RIGHT by the guy that had it and i honestly haven't ever even seen an engine that's in such pristine/immaculate condition like dead serious. I'm so happy with this car and I've always wanted to get a mustang but never have neen able to untill NOW! I'm gonna FULLY take care of this beauty and hopefully by doing so she will hold up and last me a really long time. People weren't lying when they've been saying that these STANGS are BEAUTIFUL and GREAT cars to own all the way around so here is to all my STANG owners out there! it's said the single cam 4.6 can be built to 500hp na and the dual cam cobra 4.6 to 1000hp na . though no one that I have heard this from gives any specs or fuel types used . vary cool 4.6 videos! a ridiculous vid to check out is a 5.4l lighting swaped crown vic ...

I raced a 3v in Mexico (just a smidge south of San Diego 👌).

I was driving my 07 z06(stock) vs a H/C/I/E 3V. I pulled him a bit harder than your viper pulled your 3V, but he didn’t have rear gears or a 6 speed swap. Crazy how that intergalactic 3rd gear can be such a difference maker! He was just never in his powerband soon enough to make it a race.

THE ENGINE IS TORQUEY/ Just get the 2007 shelby GT to get the Hurst 5 speed and the 3.55 rear. ALSO: the shelby gt 4.6LTHE BEST SOUNDING GARGLING CAR I HAVE HEARD- not LOUD put like a coonhound on the huint

I like the 4.6 as well because it's pretty stout. I believe it's even more stout than the 5.0. My friend had an 05 and he got rid of it with 120k on the odo. Never once gave him an issue. He and I were very impressed. I think it's a great engine and back in the day, I'm sure it performed plenty well.

While the 3v doesn't have the glitz and glamour of the 5.0, I think I prefer it still based on how rock solid it is. My friend had a 2016 5.0 with 60k miles and it gave him problems on more than one occasion....... on the other hand my best friend had an 08 4.6 with 120k on it and it never gave him an issue even though he drove it like he meant business. I am thinking that while the 4.6 may be a bit underwhelming, that it is a better engine for longevity. I could be totally wrong though. I am just speaking from my experience. I have never owned a mustang but I'm definitely interested in a 3v after reading and watching vids. I'm sure the 5.0 is good and can last too as long as you take care of it as is true with any other engine.

You people think you can pull horsepower out of thin air and in the c5's case you're pulling it out of a cold air intake and an exhaust upgrade that did absolutely nothing. The Corvette probably ran better stock 20 years ago. But I have to say your Mustang now is running pretty good January of '23 ¿`_

i have a 2007 gt mannual stock engine bbk filter with bbk short headers with tune . do you recommend a 4.10 ratio or i still on the original ? because i have a noise from my diff and im planing to change it . thx you

Nice video! I had a 05 GT premium w/ cold air and exhaust cut outs. Drive the hexk out of the car. Build my Dads(RIP) 13 f150 FX4 5.0. So far I’ve done tune and exhaust. Now I’m upgrading the vct set up, putting Boss 302 intake, Boss timing chain, Boss chain tensioners, cold air, and tune.

I was left a mustang GT by both my brothers that passed on early in their lives. It’s mostly sat in the garage cause the one guy I trusted to put ten grand worth of work into it, just put lipstick on me and tried to milk my bank account. I’ve had it sitting and contemplated if it’s time I let go and give it up. Been hard to decide but this gives me faith that I may find someone who is a car guy that can put some work in and be trustworthy, or, I can wait till my kid is old enough that I can dedicate time to the car that it deserves. Either way, this was amazing to see that the 4.6 can put the work in if you put the work into it.

Watching the rear end of that Viper want to let go had me man. I’ve only owned a few American Muscle cars and they were from the 90’s
But I remember a friend of loaning another friend ours his Viper one day and his inexperience and excitement while it driving caused him to roll that thing into a thing into a field. Every time I see one of those beasts I think of him paralyzed from the waste down in the young prime of his life. Those things are freakin monsters that should not be taken lightly.

It’s always nice to see the underdog get some serious work put in and come out on top.
Now I haven’t had a V8 in some time and with the price of gas it’s probably the worst time to get one but you’ve got to enjoy the time while your here.
The last of the classic looking Mustang , 2014 would do or possibly a 2015-2017 just to keep it on budget. Fun cars for a bargain.

Your 3 valve is mean but that viper is a beast

I will always appreciate the exterior looks of the 2005-2009 mustang, but I would never waste all the money it takes to make a 3v fast. Its cheaper to just buy a Coyote GT as a starting platform than to mod a 3v. Plus 3v interior is so ugly.

I bought a 99 off the showroom floor and had a full exhaust and went with 373 gears then a vortech supercharger and I put a smaller pulley on it with 42lbs injectors with a center force dual friction clutch with an aftermarket shifter and nitto drag radials with all the suspension parts they made at the time

The Modular 4.6l V8 came out when Ford Australia re-introduced the V8 in its home-built models. Instead of this engine, we were still getting old stock of Windsor 5.0 from 1992-2002 :(

Good power from that engine naturally aspirated. But what you lacked in HP to some of the cars, you gained in the rest of the set up. More of a racing set up with gearing and such.
