ОтветитьI have used body weight exercises by focusing on dicentric movements. For example, when doing pull ups or push up does not matter, slow down to at least 3-5 seconds per rep. This will tire you out tremendously but build great strength.

ОтветитьInteresting. I prefer a mix of strength and size. Hiding your strength often puts you in a position where you have to prove it, where if you show that you might have some strength then other people will not test you so often. It prevents a lot of problems.
Ответитьsimple reality is if you don't take steroids its really hard to get big. If you exercise normally you won't reach great size anyways

ОтветитьBeen a farmer for 2 years, never really lifted/trained for strength before, had Maui Thai training background before been farmer for about 3 years (just training/sparring not fighting)
Been 2 years of wrestling 120KG Billy Goats/Rams/60KG sheep/ewes everyday for sheering/horn maintence/grooming, digging multiple 600ml/2 footish holes at least 4 times a week, wire fence work by hand for full paddocks, doing garden work and maintaining multiple acres of grass fields, chopping wood every single day by hand no splitter just an axe, and chopping trees with an axe/hand saw, built my own cabin to live in with all the inner works and also do other off grid type things.
Am 6ft, was 65KG before farmer with Maui Thai background (was lean Boi)
Still 6ft now 85KG since becoming farmer.
Have 350lbs grip strength (can do 5 reps of a 350lbs gripper)
Can lift 220Kg/485lbs (deadlift) only 1 rep
Only after 4 weeks of training.
Farmer strength is cooked, but we sleep like logs and don't have spare time for anything other than farm and your wife/kids and maybe 1 week all told of the year to go do things, time to train is hard to find too but when I do, it is also proving to help with my day to day activities since training 3 times a week for the past month, just get a tad more sore, but the added strength is noticeable.
Spartan soldiers used to train pushing with their shields each others back and the guy in front was pushing with his shield a tree. At some point the tree was falling down, but can you imagine the strength of back muscles and shoulders of the guy in front?

ОтветитьThis is excellent for those seeking to train their core better. Most people aren't going to want to increase the muscle mass/bulk of their core/waist because we want that broad shoulders to small waist ratio.
