Would have been useful IF there had been ANY description/annotation. As it is, it is just a bunch of guys yelling incomprehensible noises. A waste of time.

A F-4 RIO told me the front gear landing lights also indicated above, below or at glide path. I assume I heard correctly.

There’s a 10 minute clip from a PBS documentary about a carrier cruise, with the clip on a night recovery event. 10 planes needed to be recovered in pitch black and rolling seas, and nearly every plane boltered or hook missed, and all low on fuel. The other carrier wing pilots watching the unrecovered planes on cctv were just as nervous. They were sending up a female pilot FA-18 to buddy refuel, but the squadron CO instead flew the flight as the lady was on her first cruise, and the online misogynists posters came out of their caves with their sh it.

No other country on earth even comes close.

I'm sure that there are harder jobs, but I can't think of them. Respect.

When you tell Army people that modern sea-batgles had to be stopped and postponed due to bad weather, they sometimes laugh. Until they're pot there and feel it. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪

Sometimes, you get to just see how tough some of the Navy jobs are, and what they can accomplish with good training, determination, and pure will.

The amount of training to do any of this, at any time of day, is mind boggling. Much respect to all that get the job done!!
