What are some differences between essentialism and minimalism?
Ответить❤
ОтветитьTHIS was a GREAT video! I took a LOT of notes. THANKS!!! : )
ОтветитьI've always thought minimalism was a sliding scale. It's not the same for everyone.
This is a better term.
Essential/Essentialism as a word itself is a term I can better relate to than "minimalism" (I'm in neither movement nor camp).
It is more realistic, pragmatic, practical, intentional and purposeful, and that also doesn't evoke a bare to the bones room, with just 3 items in it.
Expedentially🤔
ОтветитьYou excel in your presentation delivery, skillfully presenting ideas and perspectives in the most fascinating way.
ОтветитьMany times, when I participate in certain activities, I question whether or not it's worth my time. The friends I see, how influential are they? And lately, I just ask myself, is this the best use of my time? This is not living my best life. I just recently lost my job. I earned a great salary. I am now faced with possible $15 to $20k drop with a new job when I felt I needed $10 or $20k more before. I had just started taking strong action to improve my finances and planned to leave corporate life after 2 more years. Well, I am scrambling a bit but do have emergency funds and large food and essential supplies...prepared for emergency. Well, here I am. All of your tips still apply, and I'm working all angles. It's hard, but determination and tenacity will help.
ОтветитьTHIS! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
ОтветитьSomewhere between 2-3 I think, real estate in Sydney is priced so that house hacking is virtually impossible. Most rents won’t come close to covering the mortgage here which sucks! 😂
ОтветитьYour 20 Lessons are realistic, attainable, and easy to incorporate in your daily living🙏❤
Ответитьone priority at work, one priority in love life, one priority in family matters...
you can separate your life in different and unrelated thematics and have multiple priorities, just one in each box.
Nice vid
ОтветитьIt is really foolish, as a parent, to ignore politics and what is happening in the world. You will be leaving a world that you can infuence for the good to your child to spend his or her life in. Pay attention.
ОтветитьGabe, you are awesome. Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you! I've actually already been doing this, but I felt guilty.
ОтветитьMost of the people watching and agreeing with you have iPhones and PS5s and aren't about to get rid of them 😂
ОтветитьThe book looks interesting. Do you need the goal book also, as suggested??????
ОтветитьReally great video!! Thanks!!
ОтветитьDo i still have to buy the book now? Or are these essentially the essentials?
ОтветитьLove your vids! You just got a new sub here. I noticed you're using a nice back-lit kboard, mind telling me the brand/model? Tnx much!
ОтветитьGabe could you talk a little more about how you do Less but Better with ADHD? I do not find it easy - not the 'priority selection' part, but the 'staying focused on it' part.
ОтветитьSorry, I couldn't resist...you misspelled 'talented' in the phrase "what are you particularly talented at".
ОтветитьI've never seen anybody crack an egg like that
ОтветитьThanks for sharing ! love your video ☺
Ответить先關注選擇,才能做出正確的決定~~~^^
ОтветитьI appreciate Gabe's positive outlook on living an authentic and rewarding life. But I must add my 2 cents. As a 70 year old, single gay man, I have experienced a great many 'ups' and 'downs' during 5 decades of adulthood. Many 'downs' were due to poor choices on my part and some I had no control over (such as my partner dying). Most of the 'ups' were because of hard work and some were just luck. I've had lousy jobs and have been taken advantage of. I tried to invest and lost all my money. I've been in abusive relationships. I don't maintain close family ties (by choice). And my few attempts at self-employment all flatlined. Yet, each time, I found a way to bounce back and re-invent myself. I guess what I've learned from all of that is: Work on your strengths, take care of your personal self and don't trust anyone too readily. Life is mainly about "self-preservation".
ОтветитьOk. Lots of people on here coming down on Gabe about spelling and grammar. I get what you’re saying, however I believe that it shows you don’t have to be perfect at everything to still become highly successful. Gabe keep killing it man. I would be happy to edit your work for free if you would like.
ОтветитьYour best video so far :)
ОтветитьReally enjoying your Essentialism videos!
Ответить18 ads just to watch 14 mins clip. finally gave up
ОтветитьMy TV died and cable was sooo expensive and I really thought about it and I didn't miss it so now I still have access to everything via computer, phone and tablet. It works out fine and I realized....wait a minute. I dont need the expense of all of that and this worked out fine for me. It's then when you have an A HA moment. Lol 👍
Ответить...expodentially?
Bruh.
Being unavailable became my superpower a couple of years ago. It is a life changer!
ОтветитьFor zero-based budgeting, I was using YNAB, but they keep cranking their price after they switched to a subscription model. I found a free google sheets template on steroids called Aspire Budgeting. It’s zero-based.
Ответить“The 12 Week Year” by Moran & Lennington is a favorite. It’s ideas and format for accomplishing 4 12-week years (and goals) within one calendar year are something our production company has built into our structure, and we’ve found a lot of success from it! Would enjoy hearing your take on it.
ОтветитьYou lost me on #1…
ОтветитьCongratulations on your beautiful family & your great approach to Life!
Thanks for sharing.
Is that your book?
ОтветитьThis all hits hard. Gradually working towards a life like this. Thanks for the inspiration.
Side note: 6 mins 22 seconds edit Qusetions
Loved this, and bought the book! Your videos look great - can you share what camera and lens you're using?
ОтветитьAwesome video!!! :) thanks, Gabe
ОтветитьI hate as hard as I'm working right now,But I'm only doing it to invest in the stock market for passive income so I can stop working. Good news though - I'm only about $50K away from Early Retirement.
ОтветитьGabe, you make a living doing these videos, yet you let typos slip through. 'What am I taleted at'? Can't take you seriously, dude.
