Might as well make an updated guide, someone has to lol might even be me, a lot has been changed and updated, not to mention farming sim is not a yearly release so why are the only guides for when the game just came out, not even the fs academy is accurate in what creates weeds and stones, for how much work the modding community has done to make this game you’d think the developers would help out a little.
ОтветитьDidn’t talk about weeds lmao
Ответитьwhat makes weeds?
ОтветитьThanks….needed this video.
ОтветитьSomething to remember with a spader is that you can seed directly into it where with a plough or a subsoiler you still need to cultivate before you can seed(or at least I think so, correct me if I'm wrong(that is how it works irl at least))
ОтветитьAnyone else know the Brian Reagan joke about fridges, 800 dollars, keeps your food cold? If not, go watch a Brian Reagon special, he is a treasure. If so, same vibes as he went through all the machines.
ОтветитьSooo ya know that the kinze blue planter is also direct. If it has the hand over the seed it’s a direct planter
ОтветитьSuggestion, how will these implements work with precision farming DLC? Are there changes that need to be aware of, so you can get a high yield bonus with that DLC on?
Ответитьinfinite money stone plow collect stones plow collect stones plow collect stones
ОтветитьPloughing gives a bonus which you lose by cultivating, but does your environmental score go up by not ploughing, would this counter the loss?
ОтветитьSo we have to mulch, cultivate and then sow?!
Seems like a lot of work for 5% extra yield.
lizard subsoiler 6M/9M is the best of them all. Bottom line
ОтветитьBut if you mulch then cultivate you do get a fertilizer state. Do you have a video about the order to do them and what you need and don’t.
ОтветитьGood job, very helpful!
ОтветитьMulching is needed tho for a 100% bonus to yield.
ОтветитьWhy use the ones that don’t satisfy the plow state? What’s the point?
ОтветитьPloughs will also prevent the growth of weeds
ОтветитьWould have been nice for you to include weeds. I know plowing doesn't give you weeds but direct seeders might have them grow in faster but I don't know all the details.
ОтветитьI think the three times harvest was only applied to sugar crane. Potatoes and that always needed plowing
Chalk was needed all three harvests.
Thx for the video
not sure if you've updated this since, but from what i can gather, the mulcher provides the fertilizer bonus only if you cultivate over it after, and it also may only work on crops that produce straw, but straw was not removed.
ОтветитьAm I missing something, but in my experience, the power Harrow will not allow weeds growth and therefore save you the herbicide/weeder job.
ОтветитьWhich order do you do these in? Which do you start with?
ОтветитьWhen do you need to de-stone?
ОтветитьThe only problem is... Doesn't matter what you do to prevent weeds from growing every seeder has a disc harrow that will guarantee weeds showing up.
ОтветитьYou’re awesome!
ОтветитьGame runs fine for me 99 percent of the time , for some reason when I use a disc Harrow type of implement I get constant stuttering everyother type runs smooth any one else experience this ?
ОтветитьIn what map are you playing?
ОтветитьIf you plant with that stubble texture you can spray for weeds right away dont have to wait
ОтветитьTBH, from a "realism" perspective, I'm kinda sad periodic plowing doesn't work for ALL fields like it did in 19 and prior. It was something to plan for, and made sense, that after a certain number of harvests your field would need "rejuvenation" by plowing, deeply turning the soil, versus just skimming over the top with a cultivator over and over and over.
ОтветитьSo what is the best one to use???
ОтветитьAny way you could do an updated one? I tried a spader and it didn't take care of the plowing state, so I think things have changed since November. Thanks in advance
ОтветитьIs there any way to get stones with a shallow cultivator since they can cover bigger areas then the regular cultivator?
ОтветитьBut FS17 was the one that needed ploughing every three harvests. FS19 just after certain crop types, and lime every three harvests.
Ответитьgreat vid! what do you always use?
ОтветитьThere are different types of plows that farmers/ranchers use. (Proper words if ya want to use them)
The ingame "plow" is considered a moldboard plow. It completely flips the soil over.
The ingame "cultivators" are considered to be chisel plows (they chisel and turn over the topsoil)
The ingame "shallow cultivator" is more than likely to be a field cultivator. (Correct me if im wrong)
And the ingame "subsoilers" are either like V rippers or maybe like a renovator. (Correct me if im wrong again) Sorry not trying to sound arrogant, just tryin to help ya out
Did all of them let you spread lime after? And which ones let you create new fields?
ОтветитьThank you for your Farm Sim 22 guides! I am a new player and so appreciate your videos explaining the game functions as I am such a visual learner!
ОтветитьThis is the only "tutorial guy" ive found that explains stuff and doesnt just talk random bs for 15 minutes
ОтветитьSo basically all you need is a cultivator and a plow & a roller and a stone picker for the large stones after plowing...........
Harrows are usually used to remove track marks (if you want to change your lines etc) and soften the top soil but seems this is a non factor in farming sim 2017 - 2022.
Would be nice if they actually made the useless items useful but hey......
Thank you keep making vids on what all this stuff does for some one that hasnt farmed
ОтветитьAs a hint, if you use a direct planter after a mulcher, it gets a fert. state! So thats very confident
ОтветитьFS22 most profitable production chain
ОтветитьThanks for the video, great details for a NooB like me. Would you do a follow-up on the BEDNAR FB3000-TO6000-PT6000 please ? It has the subsoiler which lifts the rocks, has a cultivator and then a roller to re-bury them. It also has a fertiliser option (but couldn't get that loaded no matter how hard I tried). It's really expensive, but if you can do all these functions in one, it may be worth it. Not sure. Thanks again.
Ответитьalso if you need to lime you have to prepare the ground, you can't lime on a mulched field
Ответитьhelpfull, but half info... i found that a subsoiler also leaves your field in a cultivated state
ОтветитьShowing some ignorance here but how often are you required plowing for the other crops besides the ones it indicates is required?
ОтветитьIm wondering what is the best combination for maximum yield
ОтветитьShould do a test on workers, their cost per hour if it's different if your just traveling , transporting or doing field work. Idk cause I feel they are very costly compared to fs19. I would like the details on it and am much to lazy and would be good content I believe lol.
ОтветитьI think the mulcher didnt "show signs" of working in the field is because it was a corn field. I'm thinking because the field needs to be plowed because it was a root crop it makes mulching irrelevant? I could be wrong
