after watching Marks video and getting the bad ending i so badly needed to see her get out of there. i was constantly tearing up on and off watching this. the developer did a phenomenal job telling this story and portraying a topic that personally hits so close to home trough a simple game. And if anyone else who sadly relates to the little girl is reading this, i am proud of you, and you are a fucking warrior. ❤❤

I like the way that Eddie chose not to take the pills, and managed to escape Papa. But Markiplier decided to keep on taking the pills and then Papa got the girl in the basement pregnant. Atleast thats what i think they were talking about when she said "Why is my belly so round and big?" ☹️

Its sad that its based on a real story where the father puts his daughter asleep and abuses her...

Its good tho that there are many games where there are stories that you can learn from even tho its heartbreaking

I like the duality of Eddie’s play through and Mark’s.

Mark chose to trust Papa, despite openly being super suspicious about the situation and the fact that the pills always made the character very sleepy after taking them, and keep taking the pills, expressing hope in someone being a good person. He talked about how he had to have faith. And faith would be what gets him through (not religious faith just a different way of saying trust and belief in the person taking care of the character) and that by killing trust and faith you hurt the child. He was proven wrong and said “you can’t blame yourself for something you didn’t know about.” (Referring to the abuse the child suffered, and her ignorance about her situation. Basically saying don’t blame the victim for a situation when that situation is all they know and they didn’t know better.)

While Eddie had seemed to intuitively sus out that something was wrong and the pills were not good to keep taking, so the moment he was presented the option he decided not to keep taking them. And the character ended up escaping their situation by being smart about their lies and their routines.

This isn’t some psychological breakdown about their actions, but it’s a good way to look at the difference between the choices they made and how they thought about their situation.

This horror game really fucked me up considering due to me being born with autism and ADHD i had a very rough childhood considering my dad left me, my sister, and my mom as a kid and i had no one else to turn to, every day i was bullied in school for my autism and being chubby and every day i had to come home to a filthy apartment with cockroaches and flies, we barely had enough to eat and we didn't have enough money, a few years ago when i turned 12 years old i was abused by my moms PIECE OF SHIT boyfriend and she was in on it too, eventually around Christmas and Happy New Years i ran away and lived with my dad and my siblings and things have been getting better lately and he cared for me more and took care of me more.😢💔
