I first started playing Destiny right after Taken King was launched. That was back when i was still in the Air Force. 9 years later for me and my profesion has changed entirely.

no matter how bad i want to play this, paying as much as an whole game is a slap in the face to everyone.

Don't buy the dlc games ran by narcissistic developers that nerf stuff for the sake of it also openly admit they want the playerbase to scream and cry at a screen unable to do content(aka frustration)due to it being too difficult and glotes about it but leave bugs in the game for years ,months an weeks but will fix anything that unintentionally helps the player within a day !!!
Bungie devs also support carry system and tweak difficulty in favor of these systems this is not a game you can invite a new player to or even have fun in anymore the game is a boring slog fest of bullet sponges ,they have learnt nothing from lightfall release

Edit bungie has also been caught in the past for there developers doing paid carries (CHARGEING THE PLAYERBASE EVEN MORE MONEY TO DO THE CONTENT AND ESSENTIALLY DOUBLE DIPPING INTO PROFITS)

I am still sticking to my guns, not buying this untill it has been at least a month since release(past honey moon phase). IF the game is actually doing well, and people dont feel like they got scammed then maybe I will return.

despite the boatload of problems this game has and the ups and downs it still feels good to have come from the start right up to the end. im playing lightfall with a friend and we are having a blast will do witch queen next. like ive hated this game on and off for ages i stopped playin 2 years ago but idk something pulled me back into it. while im only a casual player and dont have many exotics and have never done a raid its still been a hell of a journey from start to finish

Started when I was 12, I just turned 22 and have been with the ebbs and flows of this world since its creation. I’ve met a lot of people through this game. It’s a big part of me. Hopefully the conclusion to the light and dark story is a big one. Cheers guardians.

Thirteen... I was only thirteen when Destiny released... I was a kid with few friends. I moved around too much for one lifetime. But every other weekend at my dad's house, there was a magic portal through which I could escape. They called it the Xbox 360. I remember finding Destiny one fateful day, becoming immediately obsessed. It's still so vivid in my mind. Those quiet summer nights at 2AM. Those soft and eerie tones telling stories of a system lost to Darkness, a burning hope that I'd one day explore all it had to offer. Mystery. Magic.

As time passed, I grew older. I made some horrible choices, said some horrible things to people I loved. I hurt. Hurt so much I almost died a final death. I loved. Loved so much that I couldn't see it was killing me. I lost, but then I learned. Through it all, I remembered that feeling. I couldn't quite understand it then, why it stuck with me for so long... Why it never faded. I think I understand now.

Eyes up, guardians. See you on the battlefield.

Even though I didnt have the honor of being able to play the first game I still know how much that this franchise has been through. This game has been through so much good times and bad, but it’s time to finish what we started in destiny 1 all those years ago. The witness will finally know why we guardians make our own fate!
