Undertale Yellow is a great game, but one thing that bothered me was the fact that it's set up both in Undertale and in Yellow itself that Asgore will be some great final boss, and yet you only "fight" him on one, and it's more of a glorified cutscene. I felt like there was much more potential for the ending of this game, showing Asgore's development into what he would be in UNDERTALE. This animation aims to rectify that.

As you can imagine, this is definitely imperfect, and Undertale Yellow has some glaring continuity errors that make it impossible to reconcile with the events of Undertale (regardless of what any self proclaimed "Undertale lore purist" argues), but I tried to make it as canon compliant as possible to both of the stories.

"Undertale Yellow: True Neutral (The Asgore Ending)"

If you had told me a year ago that my longest animation would be for Undertale Yellow, I wouldn't have believed it, but here we are. This video was the most difficult production I've ever made, both physically and mentally. The animation eventually got so complicated that it actually crashed my computer, and I had to get a new one that could render it properly without lag. I really wanted to be able to do this endeavor justice, and make it feel like it could actually be in the game, but some parts of the vision were compromised for brevity. Perhaps those shattered pieces will come back in a follow up, perhaps not.

I remember when I played the Undertale Yellow demo back in the day. I was excited by the fact that there were all new monsters, which opened up the possibility of "canonized" neutral routes. However, the "True Pacifist" ending became the "canon" ending.
I won't try to persuade you that the Asgore Ending is "more canon" than True Pacifist, but I tried my best to patch as many plot holes as possible while opening the game up to more than one ending. Whether or not you believe I did a good job of it, I hope you can appreciate the effort to truly give Clover the Freedom to be Flawed.

Also, sorry that it isn't playable. I'm not much of a developer, and I don't talk to strangers.
