That being said , Usyk was knocked down with a body shot.

Had Usyks shorts been at his waist the shot would’ve landed well above the waistline. But his shorts were under his nipples so the Shot landed on the Beltline.

Nonetheless, it’s over now, this isn’t the 1st or last robbery in boxing.

Dubois looked stiff, lost every round, got knocked down and quit. Frank trying to safe him . End.

The wet ring took away Usyks best asset, his footwork. Don't think you can judge him too much on this. Usyk was trying to move away from the low blow and his feet were not doing as they were told. Were the ring dry he may well have avoided it anyway. Guess we'll never know. The better man won.

I think it’s good for Usyk to let the ref know that he was hit low…because those shots hurt, that’s an illegal blow, and you want the ref to know about them so he can stop the fighter from doing them, warn the other fighter, or possibly take points away if necessary

I like that the ref wanted him to fully recover by making Usyk take almost the whole 5 minutes…so they’ll be no excuses, and so that Usyk can fully recover because he was down BAD.

So disappointed he quit again

I'm conflicted. It was technically a low blow, it was straight on the belt. However, Usyk trunks was high. Dubios landed a good shot. He didn't hit Usyk in the nuts. Idk, at least the Ref made the right call. Though, the Ref should have checked both Trunks better. It's a Robbery in a way. Based on the rules, the Ref did his job.

From what I understand in Boxing that anything below the naval/below the belt line is considered a low blow? Above the belt line. i.e. on the actual flesh is fine.

But you have to feel for ddd at least a little. The dude was expected to lose by literally everyone probably even warren. But fought hard and almost had a p4p fighter on his way out in a round. These guys gotta get more mean and nasty in there. Its a sport but you're in a fight man, think of it that way. U can literally die in there. Immobilize your opponent

Most boxing fans dont know that you aren’t allowed to hit around the pelvic area for a reason. What we saw was Usyk take a full blown uppercut to the public bone and groin. He wasn’t knocked down by an organ shot because there were no stress hormones. His pelvis froze up for a few minutes. I’ve had something similar happen to my back before and you are literally frozen in place for a few minutes. Unlucky for Dubois but he did say all week about how he was willing to go low and did so before the 5th round so the red maybe being a bit more focussed on it was Dubois’s own fault.

Dubois spent the next two rounds holding back feeling sorry for himself rather than put it all on Usyk and when Usyk was really starting to turn it up Dubois say it out. If Dubois had Dillian Whyte’s mental strength he’d be the best HW on the planet

Im of a similar mindset, shot was at the very least low enough to excuse a mistake. It wasn't blatantly a lowblow, neither was it a clear clean shot. Whether you're on one side or the other. But i have to say, I've never liked when usyk or any fighter tries to wean sympathy or aid from the refs for low blows. He's still one of my fav fighters, but he gotta cut that nonsense out. Stuff like this takes away from the fact tht it actually was a good fight

It was very close. Dubois was definitely unlucky as many other punches below the belt have been called legal over the years. Crawfords low blow vs khan and wards low blow vs kovalev are examples of "legal" blows much further below the belt than dubois'.
