Definitely looking good 'n' like the colors the brighten the room!
ОтветитьWhere is your calendar, days of the week, and classroom rules?
ОтветитьHi, love your room! Where did you purchase the white storage cabinet? Thanks for all your videos, they are great! 👍
ОтветитьWhat are those things you stuck to the desks for their name tags? Where did you get them from?
Also, the task cards. Did you make those? I have been toying with the idea of starting a "morning task" this year in place of morning work. I am hoping it would be more engaging.
I am excited to see your classroom! I love your weekly videos! I definitely will be following you this year!🤩
ОтветитьLooks amazing!! Quick question….where did you get the book dividers that you used in your book bins? I love and need that for my book bins!
ОтветитьHi can you share your class jobs.
ОтветитьIt looks amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your set-up😊
Just wondering what size your rainbow book bins are that hold your mentor texts up on the shelves? Are they also from Lakeshore learning? Thanks again for everything you do 💞
Would you mind sharing your job charts? They are super cute!!
ОтветитьHi Susan, Congrats on setting up your classroom! I love it and got great ideas. Would you share the link for the classroom helper, please? Those are fun! Thanks for sharing your passion :-)
ОтветитьYour room is so inviting! I hope you have a marvelous school year! Enjoy your vacation!
ОтветитьI am going into my 28th or 29th year of teaching….I can’t keep track anymore 😂😂. I am in my 15th year teaching grade 2. I also teach in Massachusetts about an hour south of Boston.
ОтветитьI want to give 10 thumbs up and …Thank you for your help, Mr. Parker!
ОтветитьHi Susan!
HUGE Congratulations on returning to the classroom!!
And Happy Anniversary!! Enjoy your getaway with your hubby! Blessings on your marriage!
Where can I find the Classroom Jobs? I like how you set them up & your display. 👍🏼. Perfect for their height.

Your room looks wonderful, Susan. Enjoy your travels, and have a great school year!
ОтветитьThose booksacks the previous teacher left.. we use for take home books and library books ( k/1 use them ) thanks for sharing your setup
ОтветитьCute set up… you seem very efficient! Just to note; Dav Pilkey pronounces his name “Dave”. Have a great school year!
ОтветитьYour room looks wonderful!! Your students are lucky to have you as their teacher! I noticed you shared the job charts but when I clicked on it I only received the picture of them. Any chance you could reshare the link?
ОтветитьLooks great! What about moving the white cabinet to behind your small group table so the bulletin board won't be covered? The shelf is shorter, so less wall area will be covered.
ОтветитьLove your organizational ideas and layout! Where did you buy the color coded small group organizer with the colorful bins? Thank you in advance! 😊
ОтветитьYour classroom is HUUUGE! Just finished setting my room up today—kids come back on Tuesday. We have tiny rooms in our public school. 😬
ОтветитьWill we be privy to see you model some lessons right from your classroom this year? I know you can’t show student’s faces, but maybe you could give some real lesson learning. By the way, I wish I had people help me set up for my first grade with 38 students on the roster! We can’t get in our building until our Organization Day, August 28! Students start September 5.
ОтветитьWell I knew you weren’t in Florida or Texas
ОтветитьLooks very nice. Are you going to have a word wall or sound wall in your classroom?
Ответить❤
ОтветитьCongratulations! Your room is so very welcoming! Just a thought- it might be easy for kids to gather their items from their bins if it wasn’t all in one location. You aren’t using the other side for very much. It may help with the flow to have it split. Just a suggestion. ❤
ОтветитьLooks great! Thanks for sharing, Susan. And girl, I feel you on those mismatched desks 😒 I have light and dark this year too.
ОтветитьHi there! Where is you white book shelf from that you put the read alouds on?
ОтветитьThat easel is my favorite
ОтветитьEvery admin and parent should have to watch these to see how much of your time (plus hubby and mom) and money is lovingly spent getting ready to welcome the students!
ОтветитьLove the alphabet round rug! Amazon? Your room looks great! Have a wonderful year!
ОтветитьGreat job Susan! So jealous...wish I had only 18 kids in my room.. I'm currently at 27 but could go up to 28.
ОтветитьWhere did you get the nametag slips?
ОтветитьYour classroom is beautiful and so inviting! I love your book nook!
ОтветитьFantastic video ! Your classroom organisation and resources are superb- you know what’s what ➡️early childhood education 👍👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ОтветитьCan you recommend the task cards you used. Thank you❤
ОтветитьCongratulations have a Wonderful School Year
ОтветитьMaybe those little plastic organizer things can be used for "Book Bags" for kiddos to take home readers...
ОтветитьLove your room! Hope it was a great first two days. I love the classroom jobs. I was curious to know how your students get jobs. Do they pick? Do you just rotate names through? Looking for a better more efficient way of having classroom helpers.
ОтветитьJust remember the more tables you have together the more they will talk together.
ОтветитьLove your "make shift bulletin boards" made with "crayon pictured" wrapping paper! Curious, how do you attach it to the wall so that it is secure despite the humidity/etc. I find things often fall off... especially for your job board if you are pulling the velcro names on/off. Would love more details. Thanks. Great job and congrats on doing your classroom!
ОтветитьMy district has a policy where only 20% of any wall can be covered with paper/decor/posters. It makes me sad. Bulletin boards have to be left plain (not covered in a fancy paper since that contributes to the 20% rule).
ОтветитьMay I know where did you purchase the Math Stackers from?
ОтветитьWhere did you purchase your "back to school" bookshelf from to display books? Thanks😃
ОтветитьDid you have your book bins labeled and in any special organized way?
ОтветитьI know this is an older post and you probably already got your teacher chair, but I wanted to share anyway... my favorite chair of my entire career is a rainbow bungee chair. I got mine at Container Store on sale at the time. It's great!!
ОтветитьWhere did you get the big stress ball? Also your book boxes
ОтветитьHi! First year first grade teacher and I’m wondering how you rotate classroom jobs\how long each student holds that job?
Ответить
