How to hide your IP address while downloading from Download Station in a Synology NAS

This worked for about a week. Now on the VPN I'm getting "Connection failed. Please check your network settings." What happened what did I do wrong. Confused cause after I set it up it was working. I don't know what to check

Hi just checking with you by click "use default gateway of remote network" when creating the VPN connection does it mean only the vdsm is using VPN? as the the main dsm is using the default network without VPN?

Is it easy to transfer/move the files you acquire on the vNAS to the Physical NAS? Thanks

Don't you have to go to gateway and add a firewall rule to deny all traffic except to the VPN PIA IP?
