Do you have to put liquid in your shaker?

I want to commend you on this video. there are thousands of videos on how to make UV resin but you were probably the only one to go through step-by-step and tell us what product you’re using. Thank you.

They advertise their UV resin products as 100% nontoxic but i doubt that because they just claimed it without proving it. I can't find a single thing or person to back up their claims, and it's crazy because they sell that stuff aimed at young kids.

Can anyone help me out? My UV resin comes out sticky. Ive cured it under the uv light for a couple of rounds, ive left them out in the sun and ive tried rubbing alcohol and yet its still tacky. What do I do?

Can you use mineral oil as your shaker oil?

Wow, thank you for the great tips!! I just started using UV resin and my uncured resin kept dripping down the sides of my pieces and I couldn't figure out why T-T. I thought it was just me that was messing up, but turns out I just need to cure it less!

What else could I use instead of oil? Or should I only use oil?

Do I have to use 2 part resin or can I just use the resin In the can from my Michaels craft store ?

Iv tryed lots of different uv resins but thay all seem to to sticky even after lots of times under uv lamp and I have a big lamp any idears before i give up and try something else I usely get mine from Amazon xxxxx

Help! I don't know what I'm doing wrong, every time I put UV resin layer on top of the film the film gets milky. I think it's heating up? I'm using the same UV lamp you are and yes, I took the film off both sides.

Have you run into any problems with the entire resin piece bending while curing? I don't know if it's the resin I'm using (amazon) but all of my pieces are curing with a slight arch, even after doing them in thin layers. Methinks since UV resin naturally shrinks it's pulling it as it cures, but I'm very sad as these are supposed to be Christmas gifts and I'm running out of time (and materials) :(

I use the same resin! I do find that is I wanna work with layers, the resin sleeps through last the first layer and all the way to the bottom of the mold making it all look like one color as opposed to layered colors. You did mention to not cure layers all the way through, would that help with this problem?

Ayesha, did you get the new Sophie and Toffee dragon box? They give you two tiny containers of mica powder. I bumped into one and in a flash, there was none left. I had already ordered mica powder from Ebay so I dug into my stash. I had thought that they would give just a little bit more this time.

Hey Ayesha, I love your videos! I wanted to share my secret recipe with you. Go to Ebay and type in "holographic fine glitter " and look for the best price (from China of course). When you find something, click on it and scroll down the page to make sure it says ".2mm" If you don't see the size, don't buy it.
Anyway, I mixed half purple holographic fine glitter and half silver holographic fine glitter into my resin. Have fun!

Hiya love, thank you for this it's really helped 😁. I've always had problems with the film and oil. I think I've got it now (I hope!) One thing I did see somewhere, altho I can't remember where, is to allow air/oil ratio to balance as you are adding oil. That's (if the hole is only tiny)so the volume of air has chance to escape as oil is injected....if that makes sense? Or the film comes away at the edges as the pressure becomes too much for the space. Hope you having a good day today, def a day for keeping warm! Take lots of care x
