Do it on a hardtail!
ОтветитьAlways wondered if it was possible to ride up or down the Barr trail. Curious how much walking/hiking you had to do vs riding. The top looks very questionable in spots and even so requires a certain level of expertise to even attempt.
ОтветитьCervical fusion is the future.
Ответитьhow long did it take you guys to descend? I'm thinking about doing this or the pikes peak plummet since I'm driving up to the top of pikes peak this weekend!
ОтветитьLast time I rode this was the early 90s on a steel-framed rigid beast with center pull rim brakes. That was NOT a pleasant ride. But that was also the day I decided to get a bike with a suspension fork (decent full suspension bikes were still a few years away). I’d love to ride that on my Stumpjumper now but I’m living in the southeast now, so probably not in my future anytime soon.
Thanks for the memories!
Im no expert but I'd say y'all were MOVING down that trail...
ОтветитьFYI Adventures Out West can drop you off at the top, look em up! ask for Cookie.
Ответитьhow did you get to the top? is there a shuttle or did you take the train?
ОтветитьThank you for the ride!!
ОтветитьSo glad I clicked on this. Fucking sad to see all that traffic in Manitou tho. I lived in the springs years ago...use to be no traffic anywhere. Fuck ppl. Sick riding tho.
ОтветитьHoly crap! 8,000ft of downhill?!?!
*Proceeds to unhang downhill bike 🤗
Nice! I have ridden up and down Barr trail twice.
Ответитьsick!! I run this trail all the time, I been wanting to bike it down but won't be as fast as tou guys were going.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьI would have ran into a tree and killed myself going that fast!
ОтветитьGUY IN FRONT WAS LIKE A NINJA , AIR TIME ALL THE TIME GOOD SKILLS !
ОтветитьImpressive! glad y'all made it down safe.
ОтветитьBetween the two trees was sketchy
ОтветитьBro having run up and down this, this video gives me extreme anxiety watching you go so fast down lol. I have no clue how you didn't crash.
ОтветитьThat's technical
ОтветитьI have hiked that mountain so many times and have wanted to ride down since 1985. Hahahaha...Finally, I vicariously did through your video. Awesome video!
ОтветитьJust did this yesterday. One of the most fun in the springs.
Ответитьis that a YT and a SC?
ОтветитьThese guys should have 27 million subs, not 27,000
Ответить😲😲😲👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьSTRAVA! LOL
ОтветитьWould I be able to ride that trail on a trek X-caliber 7? It’s a 29er hardtail and it only has a rockshox Xc-30 front fork. It’s nothing special.
Ответитьvery cool!
ОтветитьI started same time y'all did, but I'm only about 1/4 way down.
Ответитьsweeet love it
ОтветитьWe need to ride together!!
ОтветитьThe rattling from the bike has the be the most unpleasant sound out there.
ОтветитьYou guys should do slow motion on clips and show off the skills even more
ОтветитьALIVE DREAM
ОтветитьAnyone attempted this on a hardtail?
Ответитьi'm wondering what the dirt's like on Barr trail , most of the dirt in Colorado Springs is slippery mini gravel stuff.
ОтветитьDid you guys ride the train up?
ОтветитьYou asked where are all the hikers. Gooood question! They're jumping off the trail as they hear the sounds of those enormous balls clanking coming right at them!
Ответитьwow it only takes 7 and a half minutes to get down. they must of been flying. ha ha. you can also take the new missing link over to captain Jacks.
ОтветитьDamn awesome dude, both of yall shredded the mother out of that trail.
ОтветитьThat is my happy place. I proposed to my wife on a ride down Barr Trail, then my son-in-law proposed to my daughter near Barr Camp!
ОтветитьHi, im thinking in travel from Spain in September to ride in US and this trail is in my top list, can you give me any feedback about any shuttle company to go to the top? And if will decide ride in an epic journey from bottom to the top how many hours will need to do the 19miles climb between ciclable and unciclable?
Thanks and if someone can give me any details..
Can I have a bit of your skill, please?
ОтветитьI did it the other way on my Trek Fuel. Manitou to PP is a much different ride. Next time I will take the down route. Oh, and a lot of folks actually race running up that damn thing. Monsters of endurance, and embrace the suffer fest.
ОтветитьI thought your names we Zac and Dane, now its Rick and Randy????
ОтветитьSome day I will conquer this beast.
ОтветитьSend it, Santa!
ОтветитьSome of those lines were so sick!
