ОтветитьHi Raghav or anyone:
1) Can anyone please clarify this :
For an Automation test engineer, to become an SDET,
Is it mandatory to know/have complete DevOps knowledge like Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform etc...
Orelse is it enough if he knows below 5 skills :
Git, GitHub , Maven , Jenkins and Docker
2) Software testers are expected to learn DevOps skills to become an SDET ,
Similarly, Does DevOps engineers are expected to learn Software testing skills like Selenium, TestNG, cucumber and API Automation?
3) Work pressure between them , which is better , DevOps engineers or Testers ?
4) Usually in one team , for 6-7 developers , there will be 3 testers , Similarly, how many DevOps engineers will be there , which has more work life balance ?
5) And also, Salary wise, SDETs earn more or DevOps engineers earn more , & why they earn more ?
6) So far, I had put my complete efforts in learning Automation testing tools like Selenium, TestNg, Cucumber, Frameworks and API,
Is it good to stay in Testing field, and upskill myself in other automation tools like Appium , Cypress and other Or else , Is it good to upskill again by learning complete DevOps skills like Kubernetes, Ansible , Terraform, AWS .... and move into the DevOps role ? Which is better , please clarify, I'm confused, im interested in earning
Thanks for the helpful work you've done for us all strangers out here
Ответитьworth it.

ОтветитьHi Sir I am new here 😊. I have a question. I have a project which I have created in my jenkins. There is a friend of mine in different location. How do I make sure that he can get access of my jenkins project into his.
The reason I am asking this question is we two are in different places. So once I run my automation scripts in jenkins the cucumber report will be delivered to his email address. So for him to access the console output and build I need to provide access correct?
you are best teacher and you could have attached some attractive pdf notes that would be awesome
ОтветитьThanks Raghav
Ответитьcan we provide any port number or the default one we have to use
ОтветитьYellow sir allready installed 1.8 version jdk but Jenkins war file not run and command line command line said that "which is older than the minimum requirements version."
Please how to fix this issue
How do I run my automation scripts in Jenkins. Basically I will use the maven build to run my scripts.
How can I achieve this in Jenkins
thanQ bro
