You can sneak in cardio throughout the week. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park further away an get more steps in, and go for a walk after dinner

You're not supposed to go blast your muscles everyday, so on those rest days, go for a jog 🙄 people like to overcomplicate things because they think it makes them look cool or smart.

I do Cardio to feel fit, be functionally fit, and because it’s great for my CV system, endurance, and mental health.

I know it doesn’t affect fat loss, but it works for me.

It’s sad influencers illogically talk shit about cardio. You should care about heart healthy over a little bit extra gains. That cardio is so important to your overall health

Cardio is to heart and lungs what weight training is to pecs and biceps. Do both for health, which should be your main goal. My 2 cents.

Been going to the gym for 2 years now. The amount of conflicting advice and exercise science is insane haha. Scroll through another video or two and someone else will say you need to do it after every work out, scroll through to another and they’ll say cardio all together is ruining your gains.

Don't even own a car. I walk briskly to work for 20 mins. And same home. 40 mins/day. I also ride an exercise bike while I game, which might be for an hour a day sometimes. I wouldn't be lifting weights while doing that, so I'm not sacrificing anything.

I do 10 mins of walking on the treadmill before and after each training session. Light walk before and medium after. So 20 mins of every cardio every session times 5 sessions. So an hour and 20 mins of cardio a week. Works perfect for me.

I had a few sessions with Charles Glass and he suggests doing cardio after lifting if you have some fat to lose. You burn more fat after lifting.

I do cardio at the gym because i already pay to do weights there and i do the cardio on the days i dont weight train and can use the elliptical which burns more calories than a walk around the block

Tbh I’m thinking about getting an exercise bike for work to burn an extra 150-200 a day. I watch screens all day at work and it’d be awesome to get in some cardio while still doing my job. Nothing crazy, just over time maybe trim very slight amount of fat and look more vascular.

Cardio at 5.30am ...... Strength training at 6pm ...... X 2days and then day off , this is my rotation for 5 weeks , then on 6th week i rest for full week off but watch calories alot so i recover

when you say far apart, do u mean the next day? I thought it was good to get all the lactic acid out our your muscles after workout by having a longer walk . or is it better to do the next day?

I do walking, running, jump rope, and swimming as cardio cause I enjoy it.. Ideally, how far apart should we space out weight training and cardio?
