What type of flour did you use please?
ОтветитьI tried this recipe yesterday and made double batch.. definitely will keep this recipe totally delicious❤
ОтветитьUpdate: Delicious!!! Although I lack your rolling pin skills. Practice makes perfect, though, so I'll definitely be making these beauties again. Thanks, brother.
Thank you, I'll try this recipe today. Not every kitchen is the same, so I'll keep in mind that mine probably won't look exactly like your roti, but I'll do my best!
Thanks to you its my first time to get it right, delicious and soft and my cousin who paid me a visit enjoyed it ❤❤
ОтветитьWhere is d baking powder
ОтветитьI like roti as it does not contain YEAST which makes my stomach gurgle 😣
Ответитьwell I am not Indian I tried making roti before but had problem. I will try your way. Mines always comes out so hard
ОтветитьWith so much butter and oil both in the kneading and in the pan, these are not rotis. I'd say these are parathas!
Even so, it's true that kneading the dough with hot water always makes rotis come out softer. 😊
Beautiful beautiful video. Very calming music, easy to understand recipe and beautiful visuals. You are talented. Thanks a lot.
Ответитьamazing recipe!!! thumbs up!
ОтветитьThank you for this recipe, definitely going to give this a try today as I prefer a soft roti to the flaky. Quick question thou... Can we make in advance & freeze the roti dough balls? How long can one keep it in the freezer & how long do we need to thaw before using it ? Thank u 🪻
ОтветитьAm going to try this recipe. Thank you
ОтветитьWhat's a roti is it something to do with rotten flour used to make bread?
ОтветитьThis was a fail for me, my dough was super sticky and didn’t hold together, tried adding more flour but it just wasn’t helping until I think I added too much. I used a “tawa” to cook the roti and not one bubble appeared 😢 they all came out flat
ОтветитьFound you through your roti recipe and I’m loving it! Thanks for helping me make the perfect addition to today’s tomato dhal 😊

ОтветитьThis was amazing!!! My family loved it. ❤
ОтветитьHi, thank you for this recipe, I'm going to make it when I do chicken curry. I've watched a few videos, and yours seem to be the closest, to my dad, when he would make them by hand.
ОтветитьI am your friend and subscriber 💝 💓 💖 💕 ❤️ 💗 💝 💓 💖 💕 ❤️ 💗 💝 💓
ОтветитьDamb!
That looks sooooo good!!!
THANK YOU!!!
Is it atta flour or plain wheat flour you’re using?
Ответитьwhy doesn’t mine make bubbles?
ОтветитьDiscovered making bread a few years ago. Still working on perfecting that. Now im onto roti after having it with a cpl indian buddies a few times.
Going to try this out tonight ! Thanks.
Hope it turns outbas good as the home made curry chicken i made from scratch last nite. Omg it was the bomb ! But only had naan to go with it. The roti being thinner makes it better to eat a dish with out using a spoon or fork.
I wont need to wash spoons n forks soon haha. Cheers
All I see is a tortilla
ОтветитьOh my gosh! Is that a Roti.. 😮
What a brave attempt..😂😂😂
❤😊I love Indian food so much 😊😊😊😊
ОтветитьThank you so much.
ОтветитьMade it tonight and they were amazing. My dough was very wet and sticky though, I used your metric measurements for everything but the flour, and I think that was my problrm(250ml is more than a US customary cup). Do you have a gram measurement for the flour?
I knew to add more flour as I kneaded, so the end result was still wonderful. Just need to practice rolling them thinner 😊
Thank you for making it so easy. Love it, can't wait to try it. I usually buy roti because I can't make it. I know I can make this to go with my curry or pumpkin. I have a tawa but also have frying pans that would work well.
ОтветитьReally enjoyed nlove tht roti wow❤
ОтветитьMine didn't work how much 1cup have of flour
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your recipe bro. God bless you.

ОтветитьMe as a North East Indian looking for the perfect roti recipe:
ОтветитьVery clear. Thank you!
ОтветитьHi there. Do we need to add baking powder to the flour?
ОтветитьDo I need to put oil in the frying pan first?
ОтветитьHello, can I use sunflower Oil?
