Is the keyboard in the Matebook 14s better than in the Matebook X Pro?
I testet the 14s keyboard and I loved it but I couldn't thest the Matebook X Pro.

I am facing a very very slow charging issue. I have MateBook X Pro 2021 11th Gen with Intel Core i7. When I restored the windows they doing fine. but after updates for a month or two, start affecting charging. And finally becomes so slow to charge the battery in 12 or 13 hours. I went to the Huawei store in Shenzhen, China several times, and they only waste time and don't solve the issue. Save your money, time, and energy... Do not buy Huawei laptops...

9 hours on a full charge? Mine only last 4 hours on battery saver 😑

Everyone always talks about putting the camera in the bezel, no! There's no space there. I don't want a bigger bezel or a webcam with such a tiny aperture that you can't see anything.

Honestly I do like the design of this laptop but I don't like that comically large Huawei logo on the back.

Unfortunately you don't talk about fan noise and heat which is far more important for me than raw CPU performance. People just interested in performance don't buy this machine anyway. I normally disable turbo boost althogether to stop the CPU from eating up it's thermal budget making the fans spin, it also normalizes performance in high load scenarios as the turbo boost usually causes a thermal spike the cooling can only slowly recover from, stalling performance.

A separate windows partition is a bad idea as it limits the memory controllers choice of free blocks when writing as the partition slowly runs full (only 80GB free memory without any installed programs is borderline low). If your windows 10 installation is soo shot that even the repair options cannot make it boot up again (unlikely event) you can still salvage your personal data by removing the SSD from the laptop, however such a scenario has never happened to any machine in our company, you mentioning that improbable scenario as plus point for partitioning is kinda weird.

Overall, the Huawei Matebook X Pro is a very nicely design device, but I wish that Huawei would do 2 categories Huawei Matebook X Pro and Huawei Matebook X Ultra, that would have even better and innovative components like :
1. Fanless design (maybe using an ARM processor)
2. OLED LTPO touchscreen display 3000x2000
3. 1080p / 60fps webcam with IR Windows Hello
4. Bootable Persistent Memory on the memory bus (at least 512GB of bootable Optane memory or similar) for extremely low latency
5. At least 14hours real world battery life
6. 5G e-SIM connectivity
7. UWB chip inside for precise 3D location...

In My Opinion, the Bootable Persistent Memory on the memory bus (at least 512GB of bootable Optane memory or similar) for extremely low latency would be such a really, really, really great disruptive innovation and improve user experience so much : I am really looking forward to seeing it become available in mobile devices !!!

I'm using a Matebook x pro from couple of years ago and the speakers are very loud when properly adjusted. To get the full of them you need the Dolby Atmos application with all the tweaks. It changes the quality and loudness of speakers increadibly.

camera location is perfect for me, soo many laptops choose top bezel. Seeing soo many zoom flops, it makes sense to have camera hidden
