Pretty crazy how in just a decade with online banking, this is completely irrelevant information. But back in the day if your weren't making stupid money and didn't have to worry about it, this is for real how you kept track of money. Teaching us how to write a check and balance a checkbook was of paramount importance in school in the 1990's.
