Remember folks... you can buy a brand new g80 m3 off the showroom floor for 90k. One of the best performing cars with some of the best tech in the industry.

Unions: Get a huge pay increase.
Dealers: "Lets put $20K add ons for this vehicle that doesn't do anything but add flair".
General Motors/ Ford/ chrysler sales: "why aren't our products selling ?? "

How about give me a brand new year 2000 whatever for $20k (or less). But because it's a year 2024, wiper blades are $400? And because it's a 2024 the starter is worth $1,100? No starters in the world are worth $1,100, it's nothing but ~8lbs of metal, old tech, not special, if it was the exact same thing yet for home use for your well water pump or kick starting your furnace it would be $225 at Home Depot all day....but since it goes into a car it's magically worth x8 it's value? No thanks, use a starter from the 1960's.

But since we increased the bearings width by 2mm the wheel bearings value is now $200...when bearings that could work for a 18,000lb tractor, don't cost that.

They abandoned the majority of customers and made vehicles nobody wants at prices the majority of us probably cannot afford. I remember in 2017 the price of RAM trucks while I was shopping for a truck. They were very affordable. Heck I could have purchased a 3500 for less than what they are selling these Jeeps for. Prices are insane, this has shown everyone that Ram, Dodge, and Jeep has no loyalty to its customers, or at least less than other companies have. And what the hell is that Hornet, reminds me of the Dodge Neon, or Chevy Cobalt and should be priced at such at 16-20k. Hopefully we get back to making vehicles people want at realistic prices people can afford.

For the prices Stellantis are assigning to American branded vehicles.... The vehicle brand names might as well be changed to:
RAM -> Rammie as in ram me
Dodge -> Dodgeball, Hornet -> whore-net
Jeep -> Beepx2

You can go to Chevy and Ford and get a V8 in their trucks at this price!
Anyone who is smart would go elsewhere than Dodge.
I am a Dodge fan... we have 3 Pre-Stelantis products in my household, none we paid over $35k
Looks like i will have to hang up my Brand Loyalty Hat and go elsewhere.

$50k+ for a Hornet? Especially when it is competing in an absolutely stacked compact SUV market with top choices like the CRV, Rav4, etc all being cheaper and overall better options.

Meanwhile, an F450 Limited is 116k fully loaded, a Tundra Capstone fully loaded is 100k, or I could wait a year and buy it slightly used for 30% off. If we stop buying new, they’ll have to lower prices or start selling direct to consumer. I refuse to buy from a dealer.

Markups for vehicles these days are absolutely insane, and they wonder why they don’t sell like they used to. I can find jeeps in my area, brand new latest model, in the low to mid $40k and they’re still dropping in price because no one wants them. Picked up a 2024 Gladiator Mojave from a local dealership before they closed up shop. 0 miles, for about $38k
