Spectrum analysers help a lot! Ears are too adaptive and sometimes you just want to know where what you are hearing IS. like maybe the amount of bass is right, but it seems wrong, so the analyser told me its too much in one place and an octave up is too little, can skew it and have it heard in all systems as a result and loses flabbiness with still same amount of low end.
But what kind of curve do people actually aim for?

Extra loudness:
1. Expansor (Fab Pro G)
2. Lift (analogue clipping)
3. Standard clipper
