Intention of Supreme Court was simple..bring down the inflation and number of toppers..they never thought why 44 out of 62 toppers are giving the same wrong answer for a question..they don't know the relation between NCERT books and NEET, no one pointed out that out of 23 lakh students most of them are repeaters and they have a book which was valid till last year also and the book in the website is still reflecting the wrong answer. If this question would have come in 2022, the wrong answer would have been considered right because the answer was mentioned in NCERT 2019 edition which was valid till last year..even if we go through the question paper of 2024 thoroughly, we may find questions whose answer given is not technically right but will be considered to be the right answer until and unless they are corrected in the forthcoming editions..the Supreme Court don't know that the NCERT books are the holy books for NEET aspirants..they are taught to answer as per NCERT, right or wrong, the bonus marks is nothing new..even last year there was bonus marks and two answers were considered right, Unfortunately the Supreme Court tried to prove that marks inflation is not because of mass scam but these 5 marks. If 4 lakh 33 thousand students are giving the same wrong answer, you should have considered why? You will never understand the severity of loosing 5 marks from your obtained marks in such a hard fought competitive exam, we do..
