I'm glad return is difficult that means money in my pockets! Why would that make the seller mad ?! 😅 I'm sick of US returns you will never make money if returns are so easy like today with 30 to 60 days return policy!! Thats crazy

Lol. Why would anyone buy a drop shipped item? Just buy it from a reputable store with free shipping and a return policy

We lost more than 56k on drop ship with LUNAR ECOM. IN LAS VEGAS OWNED BY RYAN PINEDA. He promised us after 18 months if we didn’t make money he would give us a refund. After 18 months went by we didn’t make any profit and both of our stores Walmart and Amazon got shut down due to illegal drop shipping. We ask for our money back and he refused. This guy RYAN PINEDA IS THE BIGGEST FRAUD AND SCAMMER. PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAMMER. Thank you

The sad part is these people think they are providing 'value' and changing the world. Just because (and suppose!) you can make ton of money selling battery acid - for example- doesn't mean you are providing value. And they have the nerve to tell people in social media only way to success is providing 'value' -- kinda like spyware links that warns you of spywares.

I'm a bit confused. Does the seller manually enter the customer's address and order the exact same product, or is it set up as automatically buying from the original manufacturer/ cheaper seller's website? Is it automated?

Answer to my own question: It's not automated.
You also have to make a website like "Snugito Buritto Blanket" or "San Francisco Kitchen Store" and upload the same picture, or make your own, of the product and pretend that YOU are the ORIGINAL manufacturer of the product.

It's a secret and no one ever displays the link to the real supplier.

Seems like you guys totally missed to inform viewers and warn them that oberlo-aliexpress etc. Have substandard plug-in's that isn't optimal for international customer-bases only use em if you target +/- one or two regions it doesn't display shipping costs to customers, & if one is dumb enough to offer free shipping or take a flat-rate be careful. The +/- 150BN DOLLAR Shopify EVALUATION DOES NOT NECESSARILY TRANSLATE INTO EASE OF USE OR OPTIMIZED PRODUCT INTEGRATIONS or platform features ex: - THEY STILL HAVE A BUGGY AS HELL, RIGID TEXT BOX that looks to have been designed in the early 2000's FOR WRITING PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS and sorry to say they have extreme inconsistencies in for example line-spacing and if one improvise workaround they may f-it up over time - if you write a perfect description in let's say printify & publish you'll have to clear formatting 115bn dollars and they can't integrate a proper text description import feature and redo all customizations of the texts because it's so poorly integrated and quasi incompatible AND MORE. There are 100's upon 100's of such things that never get fixed but they have time to reproduce the page builder one the left to be exactly the same just with a few visual interactable elements.. that offer no functionality or customizability improvements.

The shipping rate issue is not limited to oberlo/AliExpress - ex prinitify - buy a yearly plan and activate integrated shipping - the option is not made available for monthly Shopify subscribers even if paying more over a year than the annual plan. During a test a sale of $10 000 worth of a product with a 40 % mark-up profit would actually result in a $300 debt. Yes you selling 10 000 dollars worth of merchandise with default settings chosen by Shopify and partners would put you in debt. And that wasn't even printify's holiday-cards which default sales price is like 86 cents indicated to earn you a 40% profit - but 30 dollar shipping actually would set you back $29+ for every product sold regardless if customer was in Las Vegas, Stockholm, Ohio, London or Norway. If you weren't careful. And instead just put blind faith in them not to do something like that.

If the shipping method you chose is not optimal for customer regions you may have to pay it meaning if you had a good shipping rate for Sweden it may cost 10x more to ship to Norway likewise France, Britain or other countries. You may end up actually sending products at net loss so disable auto-fulfillment. It's really a minefield if you don't know how to navigate eCommerce and few try to warn you like this. [...]

A merchant shall hardly keep himself from doing wrong; and an huckster shall not be freed from sin. Many have sinned for a small matter; and he that seeketh for abundance will turn his eyes away. As a nail sticketh fast between the joinings of the stones; so doth sin stick close between buying and selling

I'm all in for small business and independent livelihoods, however there's a difference between providing value to community and being a middle man for blind consumerism. Market middle men have been increasingly taking advantage of artists, musicians, farmers, and many more for decades now. The suicide rate in these groups are among the highest. I'm pretty damn sure that adding a huge wave of middle men to the market is only going to make everything more difficult for true small businesses and make online purchasing even more opaque.

They are just angry that instead of billion dollar conglomerates doing it, its now young kids with $15 to their name killing the game and becoming the new millionaires. As long as people receive their items, there is no need to gaslight these young entrepreneurs with a whole news report. As if Walmart or Amazon import their stocks from China for the same price as they are selling them. Ha!
