Dante’s Inferno is straight up one of the greatest game I have ever played. Too bad its way too underrated.

I owned 3 PSP system's I have had 2 Black console's one is a first gen 1001 & one is a sliver 2000 Edition that i no longer have. I have 14 PSP games: Ratchet & Clank Size Matter's, The Con, Soul Calibur, Assassin's Creed Blood lines, MTV's Jackass the game, Final Fantasy Tactics The War of the Lions, Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow, Need for Speed Pro Street, Need for Speed Undercover, Need for Speed Most Wanted 510, Need for Speed Carbon Own the City just the UMD disc, Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition, Burnout Legends, Gran Trismo. I have a Lithium Ion battery for it & a 256 MB memory duo card that came with my 2nd Black PSP!

Any positive review of flatout handling wise should be ignored , the most controller killing pile of rubbish on any console , I highly doubt your opinion when you say positives about games this rough.

always wanted PSP and now that i finally have 3004 street model, i discovered Dante's Inferno, never knew the gamr even exist, but it is way better than GOW on PSP

every jrpg looks totally interchangeable to me. Uniqueness without individuality

I have my old psp but I'm looking to get a retroid or odin to get into some of the lesser known titles.

For a solid RPG choice, I would suggest The legend of the Dragoon. Game is long enough to take around 20+ hours (I dont remember exactly tbh, played it many months ago) and overall is interesting with its battles and story

I got a PSP somewhat near launch. I actually got it the same day GTA Liberty City Stories came out, got 'em together, along with a memory stick.

I loved the thing. I didn't have a ton of games for it, but the games I had, I played the hell out of. Both GTA games, Wipeout Pure, Loco Roco, Patapon, Burnout Legends. Not to mention my main memory of playing Final Fantasy VII for PS1, and a bunch of other PS1 games. Plus the Custom Firmware on it that let me play some emulators.

But, it eventually got stolen (by my brother...) I missed the hell out of it.

Finally just got another PSP (a white one) for $25 just a few weeks ago. Immediately installed Custom Firmware and a bunch of PSP and PS1 games. Aside from playing the games I used to have, I also get to play a bunch of games I missed out on.

And then, like, 2 weeks after buying a PSP, I ended up getting a PS Vita from someone. And man, I love this thing. I can play every PSP and PS1 game that I want, and they run perfect. I can even play the PSP games that wouldn't work or crashed on my original PSP (most of the WWE games didn't work, and God of War and Jak and Daxter both crashed early on.) AND I have Vita games. There's way more games on the Vita than I thought there'd be, and aside from playing some ports of things like Stardew Valley, Don't Starve, Hotline Miami, Axiom Verge,, and Binding of Isaac, there's also ports of some of my favorite PS2 games (Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, God of War, Jak and Daxter, and Final Fantasy X/X-2. Plus I'm super into Pinball, so being able to play most of the Pinball Tables I have on Xbox (via Pinball Arcade and Zen Pinball), on my Vita, is great.


PSP still has to be one of my favorite consoles, next to consoles like the Game Boy (and Color), Game Boy Advance, and SNES. And honestly, I feel like nowadays, the PSP is underrated. A lot of people just treat it as an underpowered Playstation, or an emulation machine (which it's not very good at), but MAN, there's some really good games on the PSP. The likes of Burnout, God of War, and GTA. And even more if you add the Vita into the mix.
