MESA/Boogie Mark Five: 25 Official Demo Video

Just got my hands on one, with mini recto slant cab.
What an amp, and LOUD!

I dont use the gain channel. so its good to know i can run my distortion pedals thru a sparkly clean channel. but its nice to be able to use the fat sound to add some thickness.

By far this is the greatest amp that I have ever played. It is the perfect amp to pair with any rock or metal guitar. It is the ultimate pedal platformer and will bring out the full potential of your pedals.

U could not of made this amp sound the worst it could be. U destroy the amp .

Think U need a better guitar player .you selling a amp the highest in money .and U get a beginner level player to show the amp off . I mean come on.

$4000 and only use the clean Chanel for the mulity effects board. I mean the lead no good by its self . Sure U can pick up a good valve amp for a third of the cost

I now own a Mesa V 25 and a Dual Rectifier 100w. Mesa V is loud for my house. At least with Rectifier I can lower the output. That being said I Love my Mark V. It is very versatile. What is the sound profile difference between 12 and 10 inch speakers? Is 10 tends to be more boxy?

Wonderful amp - its almost too wonderful - so many good sounds its hard to dial in for live use....you need three of these amps on stage!

This video was very helpful for dialing in a variety of tones! I found one that was not called out that y’all should try with the Fat channel with the Master cranked and minimal Gain! It is shimery, spanky and beautiful!

Clarity???? I don’t hear any clarity it is all muddy with no note articulation sounds that’s all, sorry Mesa but it is more a mess for the beginners to play with EQ

What speaker os in that 1x12 cab?
Is the mesa 5-25watt loud enough to play 1 by 1 with classic drums ?

Just curious, why only a 10" speaker in the combo version? At a price of $1700, shouldn't it have a 12" speaker in it? It's only 24 lbs.; if they made the unit slightly larger and put a 12" speaker in it, it would still be a small and portable amp. Do they put a 10" in this to entice you to buy the Mark Five: 35 instead? Or is there not really a difference between 10" and 12" speakers?

Mark iv mode is great, pairs well the prs.

Is it Better then the California tweed? which amp has the Crunch of Heavey metal? I want a dirty marshall sound. Heavey metal thunder.

Fantastic amp have played it the crunch mode is Aces ! Its expensive true but the build quality is outstanding!

Hello! I have one of these... can I use 2 ...4x12 cabinets?

Just ordered this last night with a Fillmore 19 inch cab. I regretted getting rid of my Dual Rectifier. My ex wife loathed all my guitar gear. I am very thankful to be part of the Boogie family again.

It sounds smaller and mushier to me than a Mark V running 6L6's. You just can't make an EL84 sound like a 6L6.
It's still cool, but I don't think I want one yet.

2400€ aka 2700USD aka 2100GBP... I mean... yeah, it's worth it... but quite a few bucks for not needing half the features... damn shame cause it sounds awesome.

I wanted this amp but my wife thought that getting solar panels installed was more important.
Monoprice shares many of the same features like knobs, a square shape, a plug.

It's a bummer Tien Lawrence isn't with Mesa Boogie anymore. He did a great job in the product demos!! I actually bought the Mark V:25 based on this video. Excellent job with the video production and presentation. Let's hope he lands with another amp company!

Is the fx loop before or after the power amp?

Would my amp sound less loud with a 1x12 cabinet ? Sorry I’m new in the Head+cabinet world (all my previous amps were combos) and I recieved my Mark V : 25 HEAD just today.

Mapple cabinet sound like plywood ?? What is the difference in tone ? What happen if I play metal with a mapple cab ?

I got it, and I'm not an emotional man, but when it arrived I cried for 30 minutes straight lemme tell you.

Just a great, well described and demonstrated amp, and kudos to the manufacturer for answering questions. Love the versatility.
