ОтветитьHi, thanks for this informative video!
ОтветитьRochester is one of the most beautiful hidden gems of the USA
ОтветитьWant to move here. One kid a husband and a cat. Will appreciate some help 😊
ОтветитьI would love to own a home one day (I'm 58). I presently live near Albany, and it wouldn't be possible for me to afford a home here. The major concerns I have with Rochester are the horrible crime I hear about, and the lack of public transportation. I don't drive, so that is a huge factor in where I move. Transportation here is pretty decent, but I don't know about there. I'd live in a better area like Fairport, but I don't see good options on the transportation site for Rochester for getting to and from villages/small cities outside of Rochester.💔
ОтветитьYou guy's are awesome your personalities alone are a great advertisement for your area I'm going to definitely give you a call!
ОтветитьGreat video. Any comments on the experience for people coming from another country? (I’m currently living in South America and exploring a job opportunity in Rochester) Also, schools for kids 13yrs?
ОтветитьI lived in Rochester BY for 12 years. In '96, I relocated to Miami as I couldn't handle the cold and snowy winters.

ОтветитьHey guys nice video! Would you be able to show us the sights and some real estate if we came up? Thinking of moving up there and retiring. I would still like to work or volunteer. Lived summers in the Adirondacks for 50 years. Know nothing about Rochester. Looks interesting and an incredible place to live.
ОтветитьI wish I could move there😊
ОтветитьLooking at Rochester and wanting to move out of Idaho
ОтветитьI have family roots in Rochester and would love to go for inspiration but dont think I could relocate there because of the cold!.
Ответитьfound a wonderful house for sale 140k in a clean neighborhood which is crazy to me because the equivalent here in florida would cost me 400k+. My wife and I are at the point in life where we are tired of spending 2k+ a month renting a subpar home so were looking into moving north to increase our quality of life. Thank you guys for the honest review. We also have 2 120lbl alaskan malamutes that would absolutely adore us for moving to a snow area. Im a truck driver so i want to be able to be stress free knowing my family is living comfortable.
ОтветитьDONT RELOCATE TO ROCHESTER NY.
I LIVE HERE VERY VERY HIGH CRIME AREA.
Great video guys live in Rochester for all my life
ОтветитьNicely done. I was born and raised in Rochester New York but left 35 years ago for South Florida where I still live. I was in my early thirties when I left. Still have family and friends there, I love my memories and certain neighborhoods, but I don't think I could ever do winter again. When I was in downtown Rochester almost every day in the late 60s 70s and early 80s, young people in Rochester now would not be able to imagine how fabulous downtown was. I know old people always say things like that lol, but it really was like New York City downtown. You would never be able to imagine it how fabulous it was and busy with throngs of people and thriving restaurants and stores, especially Sibley's department store. At Christmastime downtown was absolutely incredible and was no different than six or seven blocks in Manhattan at high noon. I know that's probably hard for young people to imagine but it is not an exaggeration. I worked at many of the restaurants and supper clubs downtown over the years and they were phenomenal, people dressed to the hilt and fabulous food and very classy. The only thing I didn't like about this video was that blue gum in your mouth was distracting LOL. But seriously, well done.
Ответитьisn't this the place where a little girl half naked was running down a busy road in the middle of the afternoon, screaming for help than the car she got out of reversed it the guy stepped out grab her put her back in the car and killed her, they found her a couple days later. That's what you need to know, and of course all shootings violence
ОтветитьRochester is a crime-ridden cesspool. Downtown is dead. Stay away from everything in between East Goodman and Main all the way to where Main turns into Chili Ave. Then everything between the airport down to Norton st. Basically the city. The exception being Park Avenue, East Avenue area. Pittsford, Henrietta, Fairport, North West Greece, Penfield, East Webster, good. Nothing bordering the city. RIT area is decent so long as you don't venture past college town into the West side around Genesee st and Jefferson Ave area.
ОтветитьWhat to know when relocating to Rochester NY from someone born and raised….. don’t 😂
ОтветитьI love the magic words of “friendly people”!
ОтветитьI’m leaving Texas I can’t wait to come up north.
ОтветитьRelocate to my hometown!
ОтветитьDecember 2024 I plan on moving there 💪🏾
ОтветитьYou have a place to go for your ged?
ОтветитьAre you two twins? I ask because I am a twin
ОтветитьMy wife and I are planning a trip up there sometime this year to see how it is . Any areas in specific that guys recommend for housing.
Ответитьlol they left a few stuff out
ОтветитьI live in the Burlington VT area and own a condo. But I see a lot of nice houses in Rochester for under $125k with a garage or 2 car garage. Are the houses in that price range in safe areas? I don’t see your email address—could you provide that to me so I could pick your brain about Rochester. Looks like a nice place to live as long as you can steer clear of where the overwhelming crime is.
