Ive just got into "TRYING" to root stuff. So far not much luck in the last 6 months.
Ive only been graft citrus for about 12 months. The two Owari Satsuma I kept last year both had fruit. So i have a bit of a green thumb!
I hrafted 10 Trifoliate root stock a couple weeks ago and abot 50% of the buds have popped through the tape already.
Ive tried Air Layering my pear trees but have not got one to root yet. Tried to root Satsuma, pear and pecan with zero success. I have a bunch of Mulberry cutting going ringht now. They are only one week into the process. So im mot sure how they will do!
Aren't you supposed to use sand, to prevent the spread of Phylloxera?
ОтветитьFEEDING. Grape vines are hungry and will benefit from a regular feed every four weeks throughout the growing season with either blood, fish and bone or liquid seaweed fertiliser. In spring your vine will appreciate a mulch with a layer of woodchips to suppress weeds.
ОтветитьYou can grew grapes 🍇 from a cluster from any variety you prefer from grocery store just look for a good grape cluster with thick stem cut off the stem’s cluster use damp toilet paper and change water you could try growth hormone until it roots
ОтветитьYou convinced me 5 different sizes in water with root stuff!
ОтветитьListen sir, can we plant it around the lemon plant? There will be no side effects by doing this, right?
ОтветитьMike,
That is a great demo! I just bought some of the very same kind of hormone you are using here. Question: can I root grape vines in mid April in Texas or is it too hot already? I may have missed it, but what is the time frame it took to root those vines?
😂
ОтветитьWhat type of growing mediums are used in these pots?

Ответитьthe one with callous, it rooted but the roots broke off while you take them out of the pot. those roots are so fragile that gentle care is a must.
ОтветитьHow often do you water your cuttings?
ОтветитьI’m trying to get cuttings from my 15 year old grape vine, how do I do this?
Ответитьthank you.. well explained.. Merci
ОтветитьI pruned back my growing grape vines & stuck them in a 5 gallon bucket I kept the leaves on them hope they root.
Ответитьhow come when I pull a Vine up, with root established, plant it in a pot and give it water and nutrients, it died? It seems they prefer to be propagated from nothing to growing roots over already having roots and being transplanted
ОтветитьCute little girls are having very kindly heart's. God bless them.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this
ОтветитьI took ten skinny cuttings from my old grape vine late may this year after the leaves started to come. No rooting hormone, but six of them made roots and wonderful growth of leaves now in late august. Now i wonder how i should keep them during the coming winter. Anybody knows?
ОтветитьCool video! What kind of soil do you recommend using? Do you water them often or do you let them sit? Is it possible to start a grape growing in the summer/fall months in California?
ОтветитьDoes these plants need grafting once they grow up
ОтветитьThis was such an amazing experiment and your enthusiasm about the amazing roots really excited me to give this a try. Subscribed.
ОтветитьYou gave me a great lesson bro😀🙏
ОтветитьSo wait until the grape vine is dormat in the winter or can you cut them at any time in Pennsylvania thanks
ОтветитьCan I take a grape vine with a node on it and just shove it in the ground this fall and would it come up in the spring?
