Also with the free version, you have a time limit and you can't add music to the queue. With premium you get no time limit and access to use the queue.
The free time limit at the moment is 10 hours, BUT it could change because once again it's an experiment.

Even so, the "activity" just isn't as good as having everyone in a call just hear it. Now id have to ask people to join said activity, which ruins the fun.

A cool idea for discord to police iframes from things like fake discord login pages would be to use AI to sort of scan the digital look of the page in the iFrame and detect its resemblance to a discord login page. Would be a really innovative way of beating scams.

Funny thing is, I just use Watch Together for music. Yes, you can't add popular songs because those are mostly owned by other companies, but I don't listen to any popular music so I almost never have that issue. The Re-introducing of Rhythm just seems like another way to earn money, nothing more

As soon as you said subscription I clicked off the video. That was the joy before was being able to listen to music with friends for free. I use Spotify and I know you can listen with people in discord but not everyone has Spotify which is the problem

i feel like the entire point of a music bot is to listen to music with ur friends. but if ts basically premium only (like the pinned comment says with a time limit on free) then its a rather useless feature tbh. id rather just stream my yt music atleast that way its ad free too lmao

I like how by now 100% of old rythms features is handled by lavalink + a few lines of code. Pathetic they crumpled from a C&D instead of archiving their old source tree.
