Dean and Rory was perfect in season 1 and then they simply destroy them! 🤬🤬🤬 It's totally absurd he marry a random girl so young (and he said he loves Rory the day before and Luke don't care at all, so he is an horrible human being!) Rory-Dean thing was toxic from the beginning. He never trusted her. She thought she was into it 100%, but was willing to try new thing any time she had a chance.
One fun thing is that everyone said Rory was so smart that any of her choice was wise so she didn't need any help. But I think a wise and mature person realizes they are not good at everything, so they listen, not necessarily follows, learn and grow. Rory didn't. That was why she failed in relationships and was an underdog in her career.

What a season finale. Watching GG for the first time. This was a really emotional scene. Throughout the season Rory was confronted again and again with the fact that she had no boyfriend (like the photo collage that was done at university at the end of the semester), maybe she felt like she didn't deserve love. Then she get's the chance to get back with Dean, despite the circumstances of him still being married, and she takes it. And at first she tries to justify her behaviour, because she can't believe what she has done. But in the end when she starts crying, she realizes and admits what she has done.

"I hate you for ruining this for me" is maybe the worst line of rory in the entire show you can't ruin something that is rotten to begin with, rory was truly delusional here like what did she expect lorelai would be happy for her that she got her cherry popped by a married man?

And then she takes off to Europe feeling sorry for herself leaving Dean miserable and confused and she wrote that horrible letter to him.The only one I feel sorry for is Lindsay. She was not a good wife but she wasn’t a bad person.

I knew she would turn into a brat when she wants to stay at her first school just because a guy talked to her then when her mom found out about it she was the one who got mad and acted like Lorelai is so wrong.

Rory and Dean had enough time to get Dean out through the window while Lorelai was upstairs, Rory could then shut the room door, shouting that "she will out in a minute", rearrange herself, put her shoes on; open the door and go to their mother getting her away from the room, saying that she fell asleep; and then start a trivial conversation gossiping something terrible that might happened to that silly nasty Paris girl.

The heartbreak you see in Lorelais eyes is so crushing. The way her expressions hit, is insane. I have also rewatched the fight she had with Christopher in front of Emily that is also just so heartbreaking and well acted. Just wow!

i really liked Rory before this happened, then it's been slowly spiraling downwards. My favorite guy is Logan but I hate how she did Dean dirty soo many times, should've just left that poor boy alone...

This was the moment my mom and I said, “aaaand they ruined the show. They ruined Rory.” My mom and I have a tight bond and loved watching this together because we felt like Lorelei and Rory. But after this? Rory goes downhill. As a teen all those years ago I remember being so mad at Rory. Still am haha!

my favorite thing is more people coming to realize that rory is actually pretty shitty lol. i looked up to her growing up too, but she is very much a spoiled kid who whines a lot. ppl were disappointed in the reboot/short series, but i think it was spot on. rory was unable to handle criticism and did cheat on people she was involved with. the fact that all that stuff continued into adulthood and ultimately led her to basically make the same mistakes lorelai did is exactly what the accurate depiction of her looks like. lauren is absolutely phenomenal and every line is delivered perfectly!

I remember Lorelei being all smug that she has the good kid when she overheard Paris and Rory talking about Paris having sex. At least Paris did with her boyfriend, not her married ex. I don't know how Lorelei always thought Rory would do better when she herself was a terrible role model.
