This video was very intriguing when I first watched it. And I'm the proud owner of a Model 24. I'm loving how easy it is to use.

These devices remind me of the old Yamaha AW range of recorder/mixers from back in the day.

Very cool version! That Tascam board is pretty awesome. Snare wasn't cutting enough for me but it's all personal taste. Great group of young musicians.

In the monitor mix for singer or other band members, are the FX in that mix?

This is a great video! I really enjoyed it.. I have the Model 12, it's so much fun. I use it as a multitrack interface for Ableton. But I also like to challenge my chops and have sessions with it as a standalone. It's makes me ask the question.. "Can I live with the mistake I just made or do a whole retake?" I mean.. Yes, you can punch in, but where's the adventure in that?

I'd be interested to see how you handle a Model 24 session... BUT.... ONLY 57s ALLOWED!!!!! That would really be a masterclass!

Awesome video. I've been considering a Model 12 and this was a cool presentation of its big Daddy full throttle mode.

Cool to see the Village Recorder here again and that giant reverb vault. I worked for a cartage company years ago and got to see all these amazing studios IRL and will never not feel completely grateful to experience being in these legendary rooms. Also killed so many slices of free pizza in that green room while waiting to strike gear too!

Silverchair vibes. Sounds great. I own the model 24 but have never tracked live with it. Only use it to record all of my hardware synths. Great machine.

I really feel that its the recording engineer that made them sound good. They didn't sound so great during the prelim testing/sound checks. Results, they could have a hit!

unbeliabley disapointed you didnt mix the song in the Model 24 would like toi see a pro talented professioal mix anything in the Model 24 to see where they could push it ... what a let down

why didnt you mix it in the model 24 ???????????? Thats what i watched it for .. of course your going to get a great mix in the higher end level mixer you used i watched it becuase i own the model 24 and wated to see a pro mixer and where he can push the model 24 .. what a waste of my time and deceptive title ... all you did with the 24 was track it to the SD COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Warren "That Guy" 😉 .. i would love to hear a recording of a cover song or original using the Tascam DP32 .. its similar to the Model 24 but it maybe be slightly better in some areas .. would be nice to hear what it can do in a Professional setting if possible .. Looks like you are using outboard preamps or maybe even another mixer then patching into the Tascam.
