But l have a problem here, l watched one of your videos about changing url and when l was doing it, l forgot to point the servers before changing the url, so currently my dashboard is lost [ l can't access it ] and my website is also malfunctioning because l changed the url without pointing servers. please what do l do? am confused please help me. Thanks

I set it up and it was instant but now I've changed my mind and can't seem to turn it off - I even deleted the domain from my cpanel and it's still redirecting.

why you didn't mention anything about 302 and 301 redirects?

How does it work if yo want to work the redesign of your website in a subdomain and then make that subdomain to appear as your mean domain?

Using this method does not work. Just did it as he demonstrated. Added my domain redirects on my Inmotion page and it now looks just like his. Opened another tab in Google and typed in the domain to be redirected (just as he did). Does not work.

Hello sir, how could i host subdomain..?? i already have it domain name and hosted from bigrock. But i just only buy single domain host . should i use the same name server or what exactly i cant say here.. This is my point.. How to host subdomain..?? :D Sory my england oh english :D

Great tutorial, but I have question. If you already have webpage, but it's free hosting and you bought already a domain name, how you gonna make it when the people type your new domain name to go on your free hosting webpage? And how can I do it to use the new domain name without seeing the old one in the tab above? I know that I need to give the nameservers of the domain provider, but than what do I need to change in cPanel to make it work the new and better named domain name? Thanks

Hello +SzE, the .htaccess file is a file for additional configuration of the directories it governs. The cPanel writes the redirect rule to the .htaccess file.
