It's been three weeks since I finished my school term exams and even though it's been a while it's been hard for me to get motivated again both in studying and in other areas of my life. I have lost interest in many things and I got tired of feeling like this.
So here I am starting little by little again. Thank you for reminding me that we are human and not machines, I was so desperate for motivation when it is also necessary to rest and de-energize.

Ответитьthese past 4 weeks i’ve went through all four stages to why i’m unmotivated and depressed and I’m ready to exit this rut and leave it in march. I want to enter the month of april with the energy I came into the beginning of this year with. January was so good to me. I just pray to keep my eye on my goals and God’s vision. I pray to stay consistent, limit social media, and be more productive throughout each day. I pray to challenge myself in so many ways and lastly to grow in such a way that I don’t even recognize the new version of myself! I love and appreciate you Lavendaire, you bring such a peaceful vibe to me and I appreciate the knowledge given ❤

Lately, I'm unmotivated in keeping up with my social media postings.
I am so grateful for this video because I just realized that I have this unconscious fear inside me, the fear of not being good enough, failing and being judged. These fears keep from being consistent and in the end I do something for 3 days, start doubting myself and end up in a future. This video really opened my eyes on what I actually have to do! Thankyou so much Aileen!

ОтветитьI honestly think that fear is the biggest issue when it comes to all the areas in my life that I'm stopping myself from doing that I actually want to do. My business, fitness, personal development... I'm scared of failing because that was all that was role modelled during my life, so I figured if these family members who I looked up to couldn't do it then I sure as hell couldn't. Thus far I'm the only one to finish year 12, go to uni, get a Bachelor's degree and I work and live in the country's most expensive city. I'm so hard on myself but when I practice self awareness it's when I actually realise how far I've come. I've published books that I've written as a teen, I've gone off to Japan in my early twenties against all odds. Even missile tests couldn't stop me from getting to the country I've loved for years. I need to stop allowing my fear to block me from becoming who I want and ultimately, need, to be. Like you I've been rediscovering habits like fitness, journalling, habit tracking and meditating and it's the most "myself" that I've felt in years.
