This whole incident is blatant misogyny and persecution towards women who lived outside the norms of that time. There’s evidence most of the victims were innocent and 2 girls were epileptic with daily seizures.

I have an apush test tomorrow, watching this and others as review ❤😂
ОтветитьWho else here is actuallyrelated to some of these witches? Both me and my husband are.
ОтветитьWho came here after the Uttrakhand Mass Hysteria Case?!
ОтветитьYeah this should give us some insight on the insanity of “covidians”
Ответитьwitch hunting still here in different form
ОтветитьI could believe the food they ate may have effected them
ОтветитьI remember watching some show that the reason why they would act strange was because their was some type of werid poison or something similar to LSD found in the wheat fields . But like i said dont quote me on it but i remember something like that.
ОтветитьJAJAJJAJAJAJA
ОтветитьTHEY WERE ACTUALLY DOING WITCHCRAFT IT ISN’T ROCKET SCIENCE GUYS
ОтветитьTituba actually was a witch though ... right?
ОтветитьMaybe it was schizophrenia
Ответитьi chose this topic for a history project and i dont regret it
ОтветитьSounds like modern republican party!
ОтветитьSounds like s**** abu** to me😢
ОтветитьThanks for helping with my homework ❤
ОтветитьBring back these laws. I have a list👍
ОтветитьPeople like to say if you went back in time and brought back an iPhone you would be accused of being a witch when in reality all you needed was a mental illness or to just be unlucky.
ОтветитьAwful 😖 Awful 😢Awful! Worse to use religion
ОтветитьThis is what happens when you give women power
ОтветитьFor some reason I thought the religious figures were catholic or orthodox but it was Protestant HOW IRONIC 😅
ОтветитьWhich witch bewitched the witch hazel bush. I'm a thoroughly modern witchey witch. I don't ride around on a broom. Nope. I ride around on a battery powered, electric vacuum cleaner. I make a clean sweep.
Ответитьthey’re burning all the witches even if u arent one ig 🤷♀️
ОтветитьCan we talk about how amazing this animation is? Because wow!!
ОтветитьIsn't what happened during covid?
ОтветитьDoes anyone know the artists name???? I would like to see more work from them.
ОтветитьWhat if they were witches for real
ОтветитьWANDAVISION FLASHBACK
ОтветитьFun fact: the way these villagers acted is exactly how players (are forced to act) in the games Town of Salem and Among Us in order to save themselves while ousting others.
This is the human psyche at work.
Killing people like how people throw off red in among us
ОтветитьThe witch trials and hangings took place in Salem Town, now called Danvers, not Salem, Massachusetts, a bigger town which is about five miles south on the coast.
ОтветитьNow we have "social justice" and critical race theory.
ОтветитьThe town in which Hermoine, Ginny and Luna should think twice to enter
ОтветитьIt was a wheat psycedelic
ОтветитьThey had the ... witch image
ОтветитьIt's so easy to demonize the people who were involved in this. I'm really disappointed that TED-Ed literally portrayed the inhabitants of Salem like witches themselves. I would have much preferred a thoughtful examination that tries to transport us back in time to try to show us that we, too, would have probably reacted the same way if we were inhabitants of Salem at the time. It is too cheap and too easy to look back and cast them as demons.
ОтветитьWasn’t it because the fungi in the bread that the whole town went crazy?
ОтветитьYou know it's interesting. Witchcraft was also prevalent in the Basque Country until recent times, and this 'Basque witchcraft' has a close association with sacred Caves... like the Akelarre of Zugarramurdi
ОтветитьThe animation is too sensational, implying paranormal stuff was really happening. C+
ОтветитьFunny how instantly when his wife was accused he shut it down 😅
Ответитьsees a girl exist 👀 SHES A WITCH!!!
ОтветитьPeople were accused of witchcraft as far away as North Andover. Though the town borders were way different in 1692-93 that is still a good 15 miles--and this was in an era of no cars and news traveled very slow.
ОтветитьI read a realistic fiction book on that once and basically it suggested the group of girls wanted attention. So I guess the others followed? I guess that’s one theory
ОтветитьJust think, Salem was hanging innocent people while the real witches might’ve been standing in the crowd, watching the innocent get hanged, then going home to laugh maniacally, because they weren’t accused at all.
ОтветитьIs this a series??
ОтветитьThis video is like a horror movie.
ОтветитьThis is code for sale mom. They considered women witches and didn't respect their own mothers, so they would come up with reasons to lie and ways to cover it up. They come from rapists. Rapists usually don't respect women, not even their own mothers. Fast forward a few generations into the future, and now, even the women are selling each other out as well as their own daughters. In terms of evolutionary pathways, that's the wrong way to go.
ОтветитьThe real reason why women and a few men were tried and convicted of witchcraft was that they looked and acted several decades younger than their supposed age. Strongly suggesting that these men and women were Immortals.
ОтветитьI throught this was from Salem(Selam,India🇮🇳) for a moment LOL
