I bought a TCL with 144 hz to my ps5, i set it om gamemaster wich is suposed to make it 144, but it stays in 60 hz ..?
Anyone know how to set it to 120 or 144 hz ?😊

I’m looking at a new tv. Mostly for ps5 gaming and movies and tv. I was thinking lg c3 but then that oled burn in risk. So I saw the qn85c. But then I saw the Sony x90L and fuck! The color on Sony is amazing ! Then I seen the Hisense and it may not be as good as the other 3 but price ratio is unbeatable! Man idk!! I have until the 20th to choose ! Please help haha

With Samsung this year. The qn85c and qn90c use the same exact panel . U say don’t get the 85c but for 2023 the 90c and 85c use the exact panel. So for price performance I think 85c is better this year .

I have a TCL 6 series that has burn-in after 18 months, I would never buy a TCL set again.
You get what you pay for, a higher priced TV doesn't always mean it's overpriced, sometimes it's just a better TV..

In 2023 BF, I scored a 48" LG A2 class OLED for $549. sick deal on an amazing screen. This TV launched at $1300

It also very much depends on your circumstances . I have just bought a TV - a Samsung. Many reviews said it was expensive compared to other TVs, so I was looking at a similar spec Philips (a European brand) which on paper was a much better TV. However on looking at the detail there was no apps we use regularly or ability to download it (unless you use up a HDMI port for a fire stick). Which for us made the better spec TV almost useless. Luckily we got the TV down in price but don't assume a better spec is necessarily better if a key element is missing.

I have a 65” LG and a 70” Samsung, LG is definitely better in quality than Samsung but both to me are god tier TVs

Had LG, SAMSUNG, vizio, Hisense and TCL. THE hisense hands down my favorite and best bang for the buck.

There’s TONS of benefits to brand loyalty:

1) The menus are the same in all tv’s in your house.

2) The remotes are (generally) the same if you buy the same models.

I spent a bit more for LG OLED’s and sized them for the rooms that have tv’s. Spent a bit more than if I’d bargain shopped and have a house full of mis-matched brands.

Are you really comparing the TVs only by their price? Get the 200 dollars TV and avoid the rest without considering the specs of each TV.... no no no....

I have a Vizio TV, I currently run off of antenna from the city of Chicago and have not had a problem in the past 20 years watching TV but the Vizio TV will not let my local stations come through if there’s Wi-Fi present. It does not let me go straight to the antenna. I have to go through the prompts. Some update that they’ve done now takes away my ability to see what channel and time and it keeps going to Visio free TV. The customer service wants to charge me through a third vendor to address the issue. I am no longer buying anything related to Visio. They are a Ridiculous company.

I got the LG B2 55” OLED for 900 dollars it’s not a top of the line OLED from LG but what a deal. OLED is the best experience on the market and is the best in quality over any of those 500 to 200 dollar TVs. Instead of dropping 1k dollars on a LED set just buy an OLED.

Sony X90K is def a good buy. I have the previous model - X90J in 75" and love it.

Why the heavy promotion for TCL? If you talk to most electronics retailers, they will tell you that TCL is the most returned brand.

HOW ABOUT THE LG 83 SERIES 65" ... 950 USD ?

I have been in the industry 43 years and we recently tried TCL on a budget Bar project 3 hours out of town installing 19 TCL TV's. Two were defective out of the box. I have spent 37 hours on the phone over 16 call ins with the worst customer service I have ever experienced including dealing with the government and health insurance. Every time I call I am required to repeat the 12 step troubleshooting procedure of factory resets, emailing videos of the problems, and shooting a picture of the serial number EVEN THOUGH I have a case numbers. It is designed to never take care of a warranty issue because the TV is so cheap you will give up. Our new company policy is if someone asks for TCL, we will charge $600 an hour to install them. We are also telling CEDIA, CE Pro, and INFO Com until they go bankrupt.

Worst tv's that LG made are QNED, I have so much problems to get the picture right.

Bought myself an LG C2 about three weeks ago, easily the best decision ive made when it came to my casual gaming or purchasing a tv in general.

#1 Mistake - Stay away from OLED... unless of couse, if you like seeing station ID banners BURNED-IN to the corners of your screen within a year-or-two..... Your choice😅

You have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to the Hisense u8h . It’s probably the best tv for 699-799 out there. Best in class pitcher

I’ve enjoyed every Sony I have purchased. Been disappointed the few times I bought a different brand.
