Kingdom Come: Deliverance - How to easily win the Rattay Tourney

Why does fighting in this game have to be so trash.

I hate taking my time and landing hits on my opponent only to have them go super saiyan and chain combo me.

It would be nice to rely on strategy instead of exploits to win fights, someone please fix this game

I've stolen all their gear and still lost to their shield and sword cause it stinks when you only have like 5 strength and 3 agility. I do have 12 Vitality but 3 hits in I'm dead. I can only manage 2-3 hits but then I loose. need to find the old save and learn to fight from Bernard again to get used to defending, rolling etc.

The issue is im low level (5) and sword level (4) and the quest with Miller and rattay Tourney quest it says i lost the quest I havent done the Nightingale quest yet now im stuck

Since I couldnt fight them because they simply wont stop riposting me.
I said fuck it and clinched my way to victory.

Very hard when low level, learned that the hard way

I'm really trying to like this game but then they drop this bullshit on me at level 5 like come on

I can barely tell what moves are being done or what keys are pushed to do them.

Get a waffenrock, the one from the robber barrron quest or lords of leipa, thoes look cool

I just kick them to the corner or just spam kick than slash lol works everytime

this must be a early ass save because that's such high level armor and his skill is so high early game cant do that anymore

The clinch doesnt work the same way anymore. The first stage it works ok but the second stage the opponent just wins the clinch every time no matter how fast you try to hit the button first.

You can also win the tournament by knocking everyone out while they sleep and taking their armor. They come to the tournament in their underwear. It takes two shots and they yield.

I can't freaking win a clinch, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I lose every single time I try and clinch in any fight. Not just in the tourney. I've only ever played the tourney like 2 times. Beating the first opponent in both fights but get my ass handed to me in the 2nd fight. With his constant counter attacks, unblockable combos, and blocking I can barely get a hit in.

A piece of advice I can give is TAKE YOUR TIME. Do not rush the fights, there's no time limit on them so take it easy and don't over commit. Make sure you've always got a least a little stamina in the tank so you can still nullify some damage from attacks. I made the mistake in the beginning of it of just rushing down the opponent like I do with bandits and Cumans but that doesn't work out well in the tourny. Treat it more like a dance than a battle. Make sure you keep moving and keeping an eye on stamina. As long as you land one or 2 hits per engagement you're doing okay. Rushing the fight will get you beat because the AI kinda cheats and will perfect block a lot of attacks.

Make sure you learn your combos too. Combos will deal great damage when they land. I for one mainly use down left slash stab stab with longsword then follow it up with a hit or 2 because they get stuck in an animation. Be quick tho because Henry takes time to recover from the move giving your opponent time to face you again.

With axe and warhammer I feint attack mainly and once they are off balance due to lack of stamina, throw in some stabs and usually that will do a lot of damage if not win you the fight.

I had issues with the tourny for a long a time, many many fails on my first play through but just like lock picking in the game and archery, once you practice and get a feel, you'll be a master in no time! Just take your time and don't get mad or angry when you lose, just try again and you'll find your rhythm to win every time! Plus the armour is my favourite in the game, Zoul is good but Lords of Leipa really feels good to get because it feels very much earned so that adds to it being my favourite!

Don't give up people! Keep trying and you'll be a master before long no doubt!

The final guy just keeps teleporting me to his special attack, that's so fucked up

That all great and everything but how does your stamina respawn so fast and how do you do that on ps4 XD

you can also do what i did just to not spend 20 minutes in every tourney: get your horse sprinting toward the arena on the day of a tourney, jump in, then drop a polearm right where you'll spawn in for the match. they wont despawn, and just make sure that after every fight, you quickly draw your weapon near the starting spawn again so that you keep the polearm on the ground for the next round and so you can just grab it while the herald keeps shouting before each match. you win each round in like 1-2 stabs, i use the bohemian earspoon myself

That clinching doesn't work so well in hardcore.

tip: pick any sword and keep stabbing your opponent in the face
it does a lotta damage

of course u can win tournament with 15-20 str,agi,health stats, but how to win with 5-5-2 stats and with captain Bernard basic skills

Where do you go to wait for the next tournament

why your attacks costs so few stamina?

Hey, do you know if winning the mission tournament done and counts as a mission completed to make the completionist trophy?

First tourney and already level 12 in fighting? Did you explicitly try to push it?
