Defeating Umbra at Level 1 (Morrowind)

If you want to get op at level 1, the best way I’ve found is to first get the ebony from the mine near balmora, then go to ebonheart and start tribunal, then you do this quest(forgot the name) where that person kills the high ordinator in godsreach, unlocking the door with ekash’s lock splitter, then finally getting a daedric dai katana from the egg mine near mount assarnibibi (I think that’s how you spell it)

I'm pretty sure "Umbra" is the sword.
People take it on as an identity.

Might be related to the "soul strap" enchant on it. From a lore point of view.

it`s much easier to kill umbra lvl1. One way to do this is to throu alchemy make money to buy enouh magic scrolls, get to convinient placed rock near umbra and use scrolls and its done, but w8 there is an even easier way - u just need spear, some reapair tools, go to said rock, and poke him to death

I'm alittle late and you probably know this now. But the sujamma seller with the restocking inventory can buy all your sujammas and add it to their restocking inventory. So with a little time of buying and selling sujamma she'll always stock more than you'd ever need.

The Morrowind npcs are easier too look at than the oblivion npcs

shashev in aldruhn has a really good ring with paralysis and poison damage you can kill him for i used the ring to kill umbra at like level 3 with mediocre equipment

The only way I managed to take down umbra for the first time was abusing a Jinxblade I found. Literally the only time I’ve used paralysis before lmao

I killed Umbra on accident before even knowing he was in the game, also why is Umbra a guy? Not to mention that Boethiah is a guy.

No one goes to AL Druhn if your going medium. The guard towers have full sets of them

I know you always bring up the woman who sells sujamma, but did you know that in Ald Daedroth there's a non hostile scamp who gives away free sujamma? If you want to save money or you need a LOT it might be worth it to go there instead. Only do this after doing a certain quest (spoiler warning below)

When you get to the Ahmemmusa nerevarine quest and have to make Ald Daedroth safe, the worshippers of Sheogorath at the very end of the shrine in the antechamber will actually be non-aggressive, and you can ask them for mercy on the Ahmemmusa, which they will grant, Then you can get your free Sujamma at any time. You also get the Gambolpuddy here, which can be taken as an artifact or used in the four corners quest for the temple.

Well, I have played that game so much, but I have never used sujama... never realized how powerful it was. Actually, I think I may have used it solely as a way to loot Dungeons and get all the loot back in one trip like a feather potion. Feel kind of silly

I managed to get umbra at level 10. But, it doesn't trap souls, which was one of the reasons I went after it. How in the world do I get this sword to work?

if instead of using the diologue option, i think if you just started the fight further away and blasted spell

Dude killed Umbra just by the sheer power of piss he held in his bladder. Imagine drinking 26 bottles of strongest brandy and a bunch of other potions and not going to the toilet.

Orcs are the toughest opponent in this game. Did they put more into their AI programming, they don't die easily like every other thing in Morrowind. A level 1 can farm Golden Saints like they are popcorn.

I would always buy hundreds of arrows and climb upon the rock behind Umbra and kill him. He usually can't get up the sides.
