Atho in HALO plot line they've basically taken all the credits from both Marines and ODST who's been trying to fight for their life unlike the Spartan super soldiers.

For those who don't get the ending where they open the back of the car. (Because I didn't understand it myself) Basically chief killed multiple marines. Keep in mine, one of those things is one marine. To be more accurate he didn't kill but rather bullied.

actually i had such a severe OCD to ensure every marine survied that i would force my cousin and myself to restart a checkpoint on legendary if a single mariner died.
