My story is a little more of the world. Years ago, I was in grad school at SMU. 2 part time jobs and full time grad school exhausted me. One early morning, I had an oral exam in graduate cost accounting and I was worried. Crossing the field, where
the expanded B school now stands, I sang this to myself. Worldly use or not, I feel it helped me to stand before Dr. Grenolds and the class. Don't ask me about my grade though.

Mack Wilberg is one of two or three best arrangers of hymns in the world.

Note the power of the 3rd verse here that seems to take front stage; but the interesting part is that they sing it a cappella...so wonderful. So grateful for the emotions and comfort I find in this verse, and all the others.

I have not been able to get this hymn out of my heart (so to speak) for this past year. It became my anthem in September 2020 and was a comfort to me when my father passed that November. It is such a wonderful testimony of the love our Heavenly Father and our Savior have for us. It's so beautiful. ❤️

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

This is one hymn that gives me comfort and courage when I'm up against the wall. Thank you, Heavenly Father for loving me!

I love Christian religion

As a LDS, I have never been able to get through this song without emotions, especially 3rd verse. Fear not I am with thee...

Really loved the 7th verse. It reminds us to always stand in our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, with firmness. XOXO ❤

These words bring so much hope, especially because they are true! As we lean on Jesus Christ for repose, we will not be forsaken!
