ОтветитьHi! What is the app called that you talked about for transportation? Oameal? Im having trouble finding it :)
ОтветитьAny credit cards that I can apply from the UK?
ОтветитьThinking about getting the same bag. Did the bag come with zipper locks or did you have to get your own locks for the zippers?
ОтветитьWhat about for seat reservations with the Eurail pass? Approximately how much was it each time? Did you have to book one all the time?
ОтветитьWhat would you say to someone who thinks they can book only the first 3 days of hostels for when they first arrive so they can be flexible and decide where they want to go and how long they want to stay in the spur of the moment?
As a first time traveler, I worry everything close to city centers will be booked up or overpriced. I'm planning on a May-July trip.
I’m lucky to be living long term in Germany, so I’ve been traveling around Europe the last few years and I still found every word so useful. Thank you😊
Ответитьgraduating in ‘25! this video really put everything into perspective and i feel like i can do it, thank you!!!
ОтветитьIm a 70 year old woman, from Canada. In late April, early May I plan to start my backpacking trip to europe so this was helpful. thank you. I've done short 2 week trips to the UK 5 times in 10 years, staying at hostels. This will be a longer and farther version of that. Typically I schedule every hour lol, primarily to pre-book and pay for everything so I can control the exchange rate. I've vowed to do this trip truly with no prior real plan, just a general route. from merrakesh through spain to italy, northern europe, then over to the UK for a while. the excitement is building. Im retired so I can take as long as I want lol.
ОтветитьAwesome vid! I was recently in France and I actually also have Verizon. I just went to FNAC (there is a location by Champs Elysees) and got a SIM and it worked perfectly fine with my phone. I have an iphone 13. So i'm not sure if that makes a difference or not since I know now there is like "eSIM" versus the actual physical SIM card. But the plan I got was $30 for the whole month, 5G all over France and 4G in the rest of the EU!
ОтветитьDid you know any of the languages or did most everyone know english? I've been binge watching these kinds of videos and no one has mentioned the language barrier. Thanks and loved your video!
ОтветитьGood 👍☺️
Ответитьthis is exactly the video I needed! Can you make a video on how to budget appropriately and do a breakdown of the costs? I’m currently looking to backpack Europe with a friend for a month and we’ve been struggling with finding ways to make it affordable so far !
ОтветитьYou deserve so many more subscribers!! Thanks for all your wisdom 🙏 very helpful and impressive!!
ОтветитьThis was great! My husband and I went to France and Italy for 3 weeks in September conventional style and now he wants to backpack more places. Are hostels good for couples?
ОтветитьThank you so much for the tips!! I am thinking about doing a month and half long trip on Europe in the next few weeks.
ОтветитьHey Bailey. Awesome video!!
Keen to get out to Europe next year and had some questions. Im Aussie but can you share a little about the VISA for people planning on staying longer than 90 days.
As well as a better insight for apps and tips for finding work in Europe that will provide food and accomodation in exchange
Cheers
I’m planning to do backpacking in December, this video definitely helps!! :)

ОтветитьExcellent video, no kidding. You packed a huge amount of important and useful info into a short vid. Outstanding work!
ОтветитьWow

ОтветитьListen!!. Exploring new countries is such a rewarding experience! For first-time travelers, I'd recommend considering destinations that offer a mix of cultural richness and natural beauty. Personally, I've been fortunate to travel to over 10 countries thanks to careful budgeting and smart investments.I wasnt financial free until my 30’s and I’m still in my 30’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 2 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future.

ОтветитьSalut tout le monde
ОтветитьThis helped so much! Thankyou
ОтветитьAm I going to Europe? Absolutely not!! But it’s fun to watch anyway🤣🤣
ОтветитьCan you do a video about where you went and about the Schengen zone? I am planning a 6-8 month trip for next year
ОтветитьThe sim card is so easy to do it’s just like setting up a new phone and you’re pretty much done, as long as your phone is unlocked.
ОтветитьDefinitely interested in hearing about your working experience abroad!!
ОтветитьDid you ever post a backpacking packing video??
ОтветитьThanks GREAT video! Basic and honest. Thanks againg
ОтветитьPlease do a packing video
ОтветитьI see different routes that say “4 minute transfer” in between trains😭😭 would you not recommend those at all? Lol
ОтветитьWhat about for seat reservations with the Eurail pass? Approximately how much was it each time? Did you have to book one all the time?
Ответитьawesome video
ОтветитьI really appreciate how thorough you were in the video. I’d love to do something like this one day and I have been thinking about doing volunteer work with world packers… I’d love if you could do a video on your time with them! Also what is your job or how do you get off work for extended periods of time for travel?
ОтветитьI thought your phone would work where ever you are in the world as long as there’s service? What’s the SIM card thing? What is that supposed to do?
ОтветитьHi! Im about to do a bikepacking trip, im already carrying a lot just from the camping, mechanical and tire backup stuff i need, i leave in 25 days and although i have most things figured out, it would be amazing to get your what to pack video before i leave, because this video has been by far the most useful one ive found while looking for little tips and tricks, so id really like to hear you out before i leave. I leave on August 30, do you think the video will be out by then? Im really nervous, im only turning 18 this week and its my first backpacking trip. Im doing it with my dad but he has no idea of what i should pack as a girl..
ОтветитьThank you 😊 your omio app is amazing! You can tell you have real experience. I appreciate it.
ОтветитьGirl, I don't know who does your subtitles, but they are are often wrong...Especially when you're talking about names/brands it is especially helpful when at least the names are right, so people can look it up.
Hostile environment = Hostel environment (which is not hostile at all!!)
Flex bus = Flixbus
Oatmeal = Omio
Trans systems = tram systems
Off spray bag = Osprey bag
P.S. Europe actually IS great for just a carry-on suitcase. Especially since most of you will visit cities. Even when hiking, those are mostly day hikes, so you leave your stuff at the hostel and take just a small day pack. We have good pavement everywhere and amazing public transport! And yes, most hostels might not have a locker big enough, with a lock-with-cable you can just lock the suitcase onto your bed. Theft in hostels is really rare, we're all there with the same mindset. I've been traveling around Europe like that for over 10 years. I guess it's just personal; you want to roll your stuff easily or carry it all on your back?
My buddy and I are taking a similar trip to Western Europe at the end of the year and have been doing research for months on how to do it properly, and this is by FAR the most helpful video I’ve come across for the type of travel we’re trying to do, so thank you!!
ОтветитьCan you do a video of basically your whole trip overview? I want a sort of guide of all where to go and your must go to spots
ОтветитьCan you do a video on how you ate? Did you eat out every meal? Grocery shopping? Do hostales have free food
ОтветитьPlease do a packing video! With like specific clothing recommendations like exactly what and wear you got it please!!
ОтветитьI feel like one thing I was surprised at was how much hostels costed during the summer!!! I know I some parts or the world or like Europe off season hostels are like dirt cheap like $10-25 or even less, but when I was looking in France/Amsterdam and other cities in Western Europe for this summer literally every single hostel was in the $50-80 range. Just something to keep in mind for budgeting because I was shook.
Ответитьamazing! what editing app do you use like imovie??
