I’ve broken down on the M25, engine had a sudden pressure loss and I was in far right lane. Put the hazard lights on, and drove over (at a speed of 30mph) to a hard shoulder like place right off of a slipramp going onto the road (downhill) as there was no hard shoulder. Let the car rest for 20 minutes and restarted it, had to drive at 55mph the rest of the way to the place I was going.

well you cant really get hurt physically but you can mentally

These videos are interesting indeed to one who lives in Canada. The busiest road in North America, and one of the busiest in the world, is Highway 401 across the top of Toronto. At up to 16 lanes in 4 carriageways, over 2 million vehicles use the road daily. As an aside, Highway 401 which runs across Southern Ontario from the Border with the US at Windsor to the border with the Province of Quebec, is longer than the drive from Land's End to John O'Groats. Distance is measured very differently here, as is the traffic pattern. Very interesting. Unfortunately we do not have any official body like your Highways Department to pick up the slack. Police remain on scene until things get cleared. That greatly reduces the number of Police patrolling the roads.

hope the driver of the crane didnt suffer mentally or blame himself from that it usually happens to evvery lorry driver at least once in there career there just powerful engines and if somat goes wrong they carry lots oof fuel and huge tires

Motorway Traffic Officers who have no legal powers of any sort and Roads POLICING unit who have all power of the law me personally I would do away with Motorway Traffic Officers & use this funding for more policing units it’s similar to PCSO’s another dreamed up system with absolutely no power of the law again I prefer that funding spent on police to enforce the law it requires Police not gimmicks who have absolutely no use apart from driving around motorways & turning up to put bollards out

Goes to show that adding more cars and bigger roads just isn't working anymore. We need scalable infrastructure and transport.

That white car in the crash looks EXACTLY like our Ford Fiesta we sent our dad back to the UK in to fetch more stuff from the house... but the route dosen't include the M25...?
