A friend of mine is a bank teller and she gave a customer too much money once, quite a bit actually. She called the customer and he didn't even realize it but he said yes you did. She drove 30 minutes to his home to get the money lol. Her fault, he wasn't inconvenienced. Dior should have definitely showed their appreciation!

I feel like even a next time your here we are going to look after you extra special would have gone a long way! Just too busy! I love dior, have a tote and now a small caro, I have given up on chanel, I can’t get what I want when I go on a wait list unless I can drive there straight away they won’t hold it, won’t take credit card for payment just too hard. But I need your 19 - one day 😂 love your VLOGs! Have fun

Hi Amber! They should totally gift you something even a discount.

It wasn't your responsability to take it back. They should have sent someone to your home or asked you when and where.

You are so sweet to have done that but people take advantage of kind hearted people like you.

Your SA sounded a little rude and she (since it was HER job at risk) should have met you afterwards.

It's sad but great brands depend on their employees and the experiences they give to the costumers.

You are a costumer and no one should ever done that to you.

All the trouble you went through to take it back must have kind of ruined you shopping day experience.

I mean you are not the assistant of the employee. You are a great costumer.

They should send you a special gift to you or even the SA SHOULD send you flowers.

Nowadays gratitude and good manners are so underrated. It was THEIR problem.

Though I believe in doing things without expecting anything, this situation was too much. It angered me a little.

So sorry for what happened to you.

I love your vlogs. They are the best!

1. I was on the edge of my seat in that Dior store! LOL Remember, we have zero boutiques in Kansas City. I am obsessed with the 95.22. I didn't see one in the video but hoping to see one in person when in Chicago this summer!
2. Our personalities are so similar. I would have done the same exact thing out of the kindness of my heart even if it made me rushed. But.... I then hope others would do the same for me. So I would feel VERY unappreciated in that situation and would write a letter or call a manager. Not expecting anything, per se, but to voice the unprofessionalism in how it was handled and how you were inconvenienced. I would mention a sample or "something" would have been nice but truly a sincere, eye contact, warming thank you of gratitude would have been nice vs an expectation. :(

As a former LV client advisor I would have personally driven to your home to pick up the card I accidentally put in your bag, rather than request/demand you go out of your way an hour to return it 🫠

Oh my gosh Amber, first of all why did that SA put a credit card in any shopping bag (yours or the owner’s)? I’ve never had someone do that and it’s just so not a good idea. I completely feel like they should have been so much more grateful to you and given you samples at a minimum. What a pain and NOT good customer service at all.

I agree Amber, Dior should have given you something for your inconvenience. They opened a new Dior boutique here in Houston Galleria back 3-5 months ago. It is a beautiful boutique and I went in and bought a bag. I got home and the bag had stains in it and also they did not include a dustbag or the bag tag. I took it back the same day and the manager who was returning it was super rude. I will never go back to that Dior. They need to train their staff better for both your situation and mine.

They could easily give you a candle or a notebook. Both are cheap to produce so they wouldn’t lose money. They give gifts to VIPs all the time. They have a budget and things for that.

Absolutely they should do something for you. We’re all human and we all make mistakes. That being said, you still had to go out of your way to bring the card back. They should show you some sort of gratitude with like you said free samples or free perfume or a card holder. ❤ love you Amber!!

Amber you're more kind than I, I wouldn't have turned back around, if I had somewhere to be. Dior definitely should've given you a future discount upon purchase or a fragrance.

Yes! Absolutely they should have compensated you for your time & inconvenience. No question. They shouldn’t have even asked you to return to the store; just asked if you could mail it back. 🤦🏻‍♀️ (which is also an inconvenience). Ultimately, because you did such a nice thing, you should be treated to something. 🤗

You are such an honest, sweet and classy person. I'm more of a fan after I watched this video. It's very reasonable that Dior does something special for you for returning their client's credit card that they mistakenly put in your shopping bag! Sounds like their staff needs more training on customer service. They should've had that special something waiting for you when you arrived. They should have apologized to you for the inconvenience and thanked you for going above and beyond to return the card. From what you shared, they made their problem your problem. Not cool!!

Amber I agree. The sales associate who placed the card in your bag should have been more thoughtful and offered to give you a discount on your next visit. I’m certain I would have asked to speak to the Manager!

Sparing a sample(s) would definitely have been a kind gesture. I would think that they didn’t offer me anything b/c they may have to explain to their manager that they goofed with someone’s card.

Yes Amber if I was the sales assistant I would have given you a credit note. She made a huge mistake which could have left the owner of the credit card really badly off. She was lucky nothing bad happened out of it. I'd speak to the Dior boutique manager and explain what happened. Then hopefully the right thing will be done. xxx
