I never have 🇩🇴 I'm 🇺🇸 who love multi-cultures I'm allergic to seafood I want to try 🇩🇴 dishes
ОтветитьMondongo is common in many countries in latin America each tweek it in their own way. The same goes for Sancocho. 7 different meats in the Dominican one? questionable.
ОтветитьPastelón my favorite food from Dominican republic nothing is better then it. My mom always make it in party's I'm mostly the one who eats it more than anyone but sometimes I don't eat more because sometimes we there's to much people I don't get how much I even want. I love it because the chicken and cheese that my mom puts is the best thing ever I even like mash platano Maduro only sometimes if it's good for me.
ОтветитьExcelente video! Has mostrado de una forma expectacular nuestra gastronomia!😊😘 no te ha quedado casi nada que enseñar. Muchas felicidades por tu canal!🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴

ОтветитьEvery time I go to DR, I come back 15 pounds heavier :)
ОтветитьHi Norberky we one thing in common, Amamos las arepitas de yuca.
ОтветитьI’m just trying too learn to cook from many cultures. I’m juss expanding my cookbook & put out different food on the table for me, my future girlfriend & kids.
ОтветитьI love being dominican
ОтветитьI am Cuban and we have all this dishes in Cuba we just call them a different thing
ОтветитьMondongo is from Spanish origin and its just a renaming of a spanish dish called "callos a la madrileña". Look it up, its literally the same dish.
Ответить👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I am trying to learn more about my culture now that I moved away from home.
ОтветитьI had the pleasure of visiting DR with a friend who was born there. Went to amazing beaches and walked everywhere. I do have to say I didn't like the food at all. But that mamajuan is amazing. I found myself going to place to place trying different mamajuan and asking people how they make there's. Everyone had a different recipe. I tried looking for a bar that exclusively sold different mamajuan to buy and try. Unfortunately there is no such thing. I thought it would be a good idea to make a bar dedicated to mamajuan and cigars from DR.
ОтветитьI love mofongo, I
ОтветитьI'm an Indian who loves cooking and my girl (Dominican) likes a lot of the food. For me, I feel personally the ingredients are very similar but the preparation is extremely different. I like a lot of flavor in my food so I'm not sure if she would like it but I realized that the Dominican food is similar just without the immense flavor of a lot of spices that gives a spice kick but flavor as well. Hopefully she likes it but lets see, the blandness isn't usually what I enjoy but Dominican food hits the spot when you are hungry. But daily foods it may be extremely hard so hopefully we can adjust to the differences and hopefully she enjoys the additional spice and flavor.
ОтветитьMangu, Classic! Being Retired Army and spent three years in Panama, deployed throughout the region of Centro, I see the correlation between Mangu and Man that's good! Jajajaj! Excellent video! Tu eres Alante -Alante!

Have eaten locally in Puerto Plata and Cabarete . Got to say that some of the food you mentioned is not available at all locations in NYC and in the restaurants I have visited in the Dr. the pictures look amazing. ty as always for your awesome context.
