Anyone know how to set this up in a netgear/orbi router? I've gotten everything set up but I cant figure out where the dhcp/dns settings are!

Is this completely free or do I need a License?

can you ping an adguard IP address from the host (Unraid)? It seems that every device in my network can reach adguard ip except the Unraid server.

Great walk-through video and write up, set this up myself just now. Only had a small extra step as I run domain controllers at home so just had to point the dns forwarders to my new AdGuard instance and it now works a treat.

Kind of a basic question, but I can't seem to find any info on it anywhere; on the query log, what does the "eye" icon mean? I have some that are green, and others are greyed-out.

During "Get started" when i put port 3000 i get warning that its a duplicaded port and cant continue

i got this error (Error: control/install/check_config | Network Error) any solution

I dont have the custom network type: br0, how did you get that? im having trouble connecting to the adguard webui

Silly question, but in my ASUS router, I have many choices of DNS Server 1 and 2 settings, including 4 IPs for Adguard 94.140.15.XX . Would setting these accomplish basic ad blocking? TIA!

If i go to
Docker > adguardhome > (left click) WebUI
it always trys to connect me through port 6052. (Which obviously doesnt work)
When i manually type in 3000 as the port in the url it works but i want it to be smooth and intuitive as possible.
Does anyone know how i fix this?

Anyone else getting Execution error 403? Tried Pihole and got the same but everything else seems to install fine :/

I like the software but it doesn’t do a great job on blocking adult sites.. it’s hit or miss sometime it does but other time it allows them flow right on in. I periodically check and sometimes is blocked and then other times I can get right to them. It’s annoying and I really don’t know how to address it. I have a circle on my kids devices that blocks adult contacts but if they ever come to one of my devices I want to make sure it’s blocked there as well.

Straight to the point. Quick and simple. Love it!

How did you set it up so that you went to "theark" rather than the IP address?

For some reason when I click on WebUI, it loads on port 6052. I have to manually type in port 3000 to get it to load. Port 3000 is not being used. Port 6052 doesn't even show up as one of the allocated ports for adguard.

I also use it as DHCP server and to mask domain requests to my local resources, but I use the Home Assistant addon version.

How does AdGuard compare to PiHole? It seems to have the same features. I'm using PiHole and it doesn't block everything, since the giant players are starting to host their ads using the same domain as their services. Twitch ads are an example.

Another good video thanks. Question. When I tried adguard before I found the dashboard didn't refresh and had to keep refreshing my self to see domains blocked. Pihole refreshes automatically
