Best tip for overtaking here: Fake a divebomb, and the guy in front will be scared as shit, and will leave you the space

most people would get ton's of grief for driving like this.. but i guess a pro label allows it all to be ok.. i wonder how many wrecks he causes per race.

Working through some of your videos and this one starts out terrible. The 2nd overtake was shockingly bad and you half defended it. I lost some respect for you. Max was driving this like one of those sim racers that don't care - terrible approach. Knows he isn't going to get hurt so dive-bombs all over the place. You should not be condoning any of this. Really sad to see you do so. "got it done" is not a justification for all this diving. People like Max ruin the races for everyone else that is trying to drive fairly.

Correct me if im worng but what I see is he is usually divebombing and expecting others to let him pass, I dont say it is not legit but I feel like if i do these moves in online lobbies I would hear some swears on me.

He drives like an ass...because he can but in terms of simulation it is just like real life.

I noticed when you reviewed Verstappen on Road Atlanta, that deep dive on the chicane was incredible, however I feel like the other driver had already made the decision to cut in thru the apex and trail the car in front, however being forced to re-consider the racing line is interesting, I noticed the driver flashes his lights after this occurs, you can see it in Max's rear vision mirror. I don't play this game but I intend to, what is the reason behind someone flashing their lights? was it because he was cut from his original racing line, unable to turn in? A lot of the overtakes are contact just shoving the guy on the line off the tarmac. I mean is what is it but isn’t clean. I can do that shit too

The worst thing about Max’s driving style is hearing the mental arithmetic Horner and the orange army pull off trying to explain how it’s actually the other driver who was at fault in his crashes.

Outside view would be awesome to have.

So basically, Verstappen is a dangerous driver who's entirely willing to risk both his car and someone else's in order to force them to avoid the contact he'd otherwise be initiating.

No real surprises here... as part of my new toxicity reduction efforts, I'll stop there. ;) Interesting video. Would be interested to see other real world drivers reacted to.

Put Max against a driver like himself, and he'll never finish a race, he drives in Sim like he does in F1, risky and dangerous, questionable sportsmanship as always.

Max races as though his opponents care more about their cars and their lives, than he does about his. This works well, until you run into someone who cares less.

Max is testing the limits in Sim Racing that he doesn't have to do it in real life more often than he does anyway...

If I had to race max I'd just let him pass even if I was quicker and be happy with 2nd. Being anywhere near him looks like a DNF.

A common trait I've noticed about successful drivers is their aggression level is set to 100%. They also have the skill to back it up and not crash all the time.

His technique is equivalent to seeing a long line at the grocery store and just skipping everyone in line, cutting ahead and then ramming your shopping cart into the little old lady at the front of the line because f@*k her, the world revolves around you and everyone else can just be shoved outta the way because they don't matter.
