I feel like their might be another game to do a review on. Do you copy? Had a bit of fame then faded away. It is a concept that is actually new and uniquely horrifying. Helping a man through the park while he's being hunted by a monster, later on you realize that the monster is capable of mimicking others. If you go in blind its a experience everyone should have.

First time viewer. I appreciated you spotlighting this game. I'm sure the devs really appreciate somebody with a platform and a keen eye for detail sharing their work with others, and I definitely want to give this game a try now.

I will say, it was really frustrating to hear you talk about the sound design so much and not simply play the sound design of the game. I couldn't help but feel like it would have been much easier to show us rather than talking about how much you liked it.

a lot of people seem to have this theory that the monster is, in some way, trapped in this game with you and also forced to play. i disagree—through a lot of Leg’s actions, it almost seems like it’s toying with you. the facial expressions that can be made out when it hides in the Hide-n-Seek mode always felt a little cheeky to me, as if it was waiting for you to find it so it could chase after you—which could be attributed to it wanting to catch you in general, but it always read to me as some sort of game for this creature and not necessarily just means for survival.
i don’t think this theory is universal for all the monsters though, just Legs. the phantom monster especially seems to be bothered by your presence and wants to end your existence seemingly just for you to stop making noise. it reminds me of a lot of wolf animals when they’re bothered—skittish and prone to attacking due to sensory overload or just being threatened. similarly, i think the living walls creatures are just trying to eat you lol.
i guess my theory boils down to the fact that while the Phantom and the Living Walls seem to be taking actions based off of some sort of primal need, Legs seems to have more of a higher cognitive motivation, even though it has some animalistic instincts as well (like hating when the player character runs.)

This is a game that ive always wanted to make. A smart monster that stalks you and has some crazy mechanics. But i could never make it. Now the same game ive been dreaming of making is here. Now i can never make it.
