I just would like to add that Putin has said he would like to "recreate" the Soviet Union calling the breakup of the Soviet Union the greatest geopolitical disaster of the 20th century. Putin is simply a sore loser. The Soviet Union had its chance, and lost the cold war, and failed as a "country". Even though Russia had annexed many of its neighbors like Poland and Ukraine not giving them a choice or not to be part of the Soviet Union. I think we all know life for the average person in the Soviet Union pretty much sucked!

ukraine was the one who constantly broke agreements and fire on donbass last 8 years and made no effort to make a peace with people there. russians and pro-russian agenda were discriminated long before 2014 (hello, “democracy in ukraine”) and during 2014-2021 our people suffered from ukrainian army. a friend of mine was literary tortured by ukrainians who volunteered to come to donbass. people in donbass just wanted an independence or at least autonomy in 2014, but they get war for that wish instead of dialog.

Excellent explanation of why this is happening. I might add, at the root of it all, Putin wants his legacy to be the person who put the Soviet Union back together. Or at least creating a buffer between Nato. I predict that he will invade - at some point - Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania next to complete the buffer line.

Try viewing it from a Russian perspective. You might realise why Russia has drawn a line in the sand in Ukraine for American ambitions to place weapons in Ukraine pointed at Russia under the guise of NATO. It will mean Russia will likely lose any future war with the West as it will be encircled. 🤔 all the Warsaw Pact former Soviet countries with the exception of Belarus 🇧🇾 and Ukraine 🇺🇦 have been recruited into NATO.

Why do you never mention Canada in both videos about this? We are with NATO and you ignore we exist? We have troops in the Ukraine have been involved for a very long time. Also you fail to mention the Donbas referendum that took place which was improperly conducted and poorly handled, and the results were not recognized in which they brought more problems on themselves.

I learned a lot in less than 5 minutes versus other channels that were an hour long. Thank you so much for breaking things down in layman terms.
