Four months ago I was given a Chemical Stress test. This was the first time for me, all the other stress test were physical. I wasn't warned or made aware of and pros or cons. So I figured it was ok. Well when they injected me with the chemical my chest collapsed and I found it hard to breath. I was so happy for it to be over. When I got off the table I was out of breath and short winded!! I have NEVER had this problem before. I had to stop 4 time going back to my car in the parking lot!!! To this day I have problems I have NEVER had before. I can't seem to do more than 20-30 min. of work with out resting and catching my breath~~ My Back aches and can't seem to stand as long!! I have trouble sleeping due to breathing problems. I DO NOT RECOMEND the Chemical stress test AT ALL. I feel like it has taken some years off my life and am SOOO upset I let this happen. BEWAREL> I wasn't even told not to take certain meds prior to the test.

Just had one done, I was incredibly nervous but thankfully it was tolerable!! They took images of my heart/chest prior to test and they’re about to take images after the test. Test consisted of treadmill slowly increasing in speed and incline until my heart rate reached over 140.

I might have to do a stress test more likely. I am wearing a heart monitor for 24 hours, which is almost up in three hours. I’m nervous about this whole heart testing thing, and even wearing a heart monitor gives me anxiety and worries. I have a fast heart rate & hopefully it’s something that is minor. But, just looking at these videos make me depressed. I’m too young to go through such things, but rather be safe than sorry 😐😢

lol - this was a waste of pain and time for me..just had today...chemical crap they put in my body twice smelled like nail polish !!! They said my heart was fine - I had the exact pain and horrid palpitations an hour later...what a joke

If your blood pressure was 191 /100 would it be wise to get a stress test? ( also I'm 75 in a wheelchair because of a bad hip - I cant walk so it would be a different kind of test )

I have this coming up. I've had a heart attack in the past and for the last 2 1/2 years I have been living miserably with pitting edema in both legs and feet. I am out of breath very easily and its getting worse. I cant see lasting more than 15 seconds on a treadmill without feeling like I've ran full speed for a mile..  I'll probably be dead in a year, sigh..
