I actually like the case. I bought the dualsense edge because I needed a new controller after my standard ones fell off my desk as it was charging and broke. With the case it is protected from falls while charging, because you are able to charge the controller in the case! Love that case feature lol

I actually think build seem cheap compared to others like scuf witch are much more comfortable controller

I'd consider buying this just because I'm having so much drift problems with the sticks. 3 seperate controllers have gone to shit on me. Compared to the Switch Pro (not joycons) that is still going strong since I got it at release

My first and second DualSense Edge Controller broke after 2 weeks, its the metal pin on the Back Button that is faulty

The battery is my only problem but it's worth more than 200 in my opinion. It's a really damn good controller

hey could you do a follow up video on this controller? i’ve put in MANY hours and haven’t seen anybody talking about the biggest problem i’ve had, the back paddles (or the housing for them). they must wear down ever so slightly and they wiggle around a bit causing you to have to press on the outside of each paddle so the input is even received. if i play like i normally would, it would be pressing more inward on the back of the controller, however a lot of times the input isn’t being received because the button is actually never clicking (because of the wiggle of the paddles after long use). just wondering if you or anybody else was having this issue

I got one for 150 with a discount stacking at freddies with a vouple rare coupons that didnt exclude sony and Microsoft. I love it at that price. I think at full 200 id be a little disappointed considering i could have gotten an aim bland special for 170. Also, 6 to 8 hours of battery? Lol yeah right. More like 3 tops...

Are you kidding me? £210 here in the UK for this. Unfuckingbeleiveable, the whole console is only £389 disk version brand new ! Talk about being taken for mugs, and, the Battery life is roughly 4 or 5 at the most according to what I have read around the forums.

Battery life is more like 4 hours, it's absolutely terrible..........

1st controller replaced after 3 months because one of the paddles became really loose and would sit flat against the back of the controller making me unable to replace it, 2nd controller has now done the same thing after 3 months. The internal mechanism for the paddles must be really weak unless I’ve just been unlucky but 2/2 times it’s happens makes me thing there’s an issue

hello john i have problem with my ps5 i have crazy input delay also i checked everything from my settings i have g7 oddysey monitor with low input delay on but it didnt fix

Can some explain to me why the dual sense edge is defaulted to linear response curve and overrides the response curve in apex legends. Bc it’s killing me to understand this stupid controller

Not worth 200 (before tax at that, and possibility 70ish warrenty)
Pros i felt: the sensitivity change for your thumbsticks for shooters ACTUALLY felt sweaty good. It was fun.
The profile jump was okayish but i can see it being made more efficient for certain situations.
Changable thumbsticks.
The button rebinding was okayish. It was more noticeable trying to play one handed if i wanted to text or something? It was very meh.
THE TRIGGER STOPPERS i underestimated how much id like these. I actually felt the response of me shooting or driving at specific speeds a lot more in control. It felt hard at first but trying to adapt to it was easy and it was nice. But im pretty sure they make these as little physical things you can put on any controller for the same experience so im looking for those

Cons: THE FCKN BATTERY LIFE its great if you just have here there game sessions but then in that case, you're not paying that price for this. Chances are you're a big time gamer and wanted some more to your long play sessions. The battery life was just so bad compared to my normal controller.

I kept hitting the profile quick buttons A LOT it was annoying.

The "unique charging" felt kind or redundant to just drive up how special it was. This was more of a neutral thing since the way its set up you dont really worry about bending or messing up the cord or plugin.

I didnt get to try the different thumbsticks. I didnt think i wanted to nor would it feel different to gameplay. I returned it 2 days after purchase trying to power through how "good" it was for the price. I bought it because NOWHERE told me if this had turbo function (the main thing i wanted) and 2 employees told me "oh yeah it does" i dont fuckin know why since it absolutely does not and that did hinder me even wanting this. Thank god i got a full refund but for damn near what totaled up to 300$ no way. Under technicallity this thing holds nothing really special beyond thumbstick swap out and i dont know about all of you, but i almost never get drift unless my controller is super old. And the things i primarily like are easily to live without, or can be replaced by some 10$ third party piece

Whoa, 6-8 hour battery life isn't that bad.. The way people talked about it, it was 2-3 hours! Still, I'm gonna hold off for at least half a year and see how the wear and tear of the controller goes. So far I'm already on my 3rd PS5 remote. All of them have gotten stick drift but the real issue has been the L2/R2 and D-Pad messing up.. And on my current one the X button feels 'stiff'. ugh. Not to even mention Street Fighter 6 comes out in 2 months, historically I murder controllers fast when playing fighters.

Hope they make a V2 with four paddles/buttons

This is a great controller but it's just a little expensive and the battery life is very short. If you can get past those, it should be fine

Can somebody who has this tell me if there’s any difference in feel on the triggers (r2/l2) on gt7? Is the feedback stronger? Is the travel longer? Etc or will accelerating and braking feel the same as with the normal controllers?
