Cool to see another ascent of So High, that boulder is epic! I've seen it done the way Robbie did it and also more direct line staying in the crack, but have never heard about/seen any talk of what the original line was. Both exits seem to have their own challenges!

I'll never understand spotters on high-balls. Would you attempt to catch/arrest/slowdown a bag filled with 14 bowling ball, dropped from that height? I've spotted and I get the idea of rotating the climber so he lands on his feet, but at some point it's just a danger to both.

That's not so high- gotta stay in the crack its a lot harder and scarier.

I'm not a climber, but 30 years ago I was playing around out there while I was stationed at Twentynine Palms. "The climb is easy, the jump is hard." Yeah, that's just how I remember it.
